Who are some on your team or any others that come to mind that you think could succeed at managing. Someone like Zidane that possessed unmatched talent as a player could definitely struggle relating to the players he has (even at Madrid) and what he wants from them. At Everton, Jagielka is someone I think might be good at it. On the flip side, Cristiano Ronaldo would be an absolute nightmare. He has a relatability factor of zero and his obsession with individual achievements would make for fantastic entertainment. He'd definitely get frustrated and make himself a player-manager.
He's one of the few world class players that I think are suited for the job. Having been shackled to Messi and Tevez most of his career, he's probably learned a lot on how star players should be handled. And it seems like a lot of managers played CB or CDM which he has going for him. Pique is someone else I would bet on. Especially because he speaks English and Premier League teams would be all over that.
Ronaldo has already said he has zero interest in coaching/managing once his playing career is over. In one of the douchiest interviews ever he said that he will enjoy his retirement, and live like a king. He has to make so many sacrifices now as a player that he just wants to kick back and relax. "For example, there is a boxing match in Las Vegas that I would like to attend with my family. I cannot go as I am in the middle of the season. These are the sacrifices we have to make as players." I almost died when I read that. He also said something about having to leave for Manchester at an early age, and having to iron his own clothes at age 16. I really felt for him after reading about the hardships that his career has presented him with.
Looks like drogba is going to be an assistant and try to get his coaching badges. People have been saying that he kept that dressing room in check as kind of the non-mourinho voice last season
Mascherano just received a 1 year prison sentence (lucky for him he's rich and famous so he gets the option to pay a fine instead)
"In Spain people handed sentences of less than two years are not normally required to serve their sentence, unless they are being punished for violent crime, if they agree to a fine."
Robbie Keane already has his UEFA "A" License. I could see him getting furious with the strikers he's coaching.
