They made a shitty foul call on Jakiri and then when he reacted to it they T'd him up and tossed him. Completely changed the game.
Fuck that, the guy who stole the ball was never touched...... The replay shows clear as day they basically parted the sea for him
real talk: VT was literally one of the worst in the country at getting to the stripe last year(something like 330th or so) and Buzz stressed the fuck out of it and now we're one of the best(2nd after tonight), including taking something like 100 more FTs than any other team during ACC play.
it takes a really blind homer to not admit the refs have been in VT's favor the last two games between these teams
Obvious bias here but I love having the tournament in DC and totally understand why tobacco road wants it to never leave Greensboro.
it has nothing to do with proximity. its about the tradition of the acc tournament and how well greensboro hosts it it should always be there with the occasional charlotte site if you wanna move around. it being in dc and especially brooklyn is awful
Count me in liking it moving. Greensboro is a fucking dump so we always just go to watch the game and get out of dodge. It's convenient sure but I like the idea of it being in a city where I can make a trip of it. Really wanted to go this year to DC, love DC, but not spending money to go watch us lose on a fucking Wednesday. Hopefully next year we have a better team and I will for sure go to Brooklyn.
DC - Charlotte rotation would be fine with me. Big fan of the traditional ACC and wish it were still around but it doesn't exist anymore, this is the new reality. Just don't think it should ever be in a city without a national airport. Greensboro is a pain in the ass to get to for anyone not within a 3-4 hour drive and there's not much else to do to make a weekend out of it.
Too many teams and too many games for the conference to worry about filling the stadium - just not going to happen on Wednesday and Thursday anywhere. I've come around to a Greensboro-Boston/NY-Charlotte-DC-Atlanta rotation.
i don't think we can/should do atlanta with the sec tourney going on. hell raleigh wouldn't be bad at all, but i don't know if we have rules against hosting at a teams home arena(?). hopefully we never do any conference championships in the state of florida again.
Yeah I considered Raleigh too but I think thats a little too close to home for a couple of the teams. As much as I'd love it here, Atlanta is SEC territory. Also runs into the problem of being hometown for GT.
obviously we're new to this whole acc tournament, but i like it moving around. i still miss MSG, but i know that's not happening. not a fan of brooklyn of course
Made it to DC scored lower levels for the next two nights off a sad Duke lady fan. 1/3 the cost they're going for on stubhub. Let's get fucked up TMB top tier bros
Greensboro will always be a host with it being the conference HQs and tradition. Only downside is airport. DC Charlotte NYC only cities that should be in the rotation. Going up to Boston or down to Miami/Tampa/Atlanta is too far from the center of the conference's footprint. Pretty intrigued to see the turnout at Barclays.
hoping for a good game tonight. my worry right now is we had 4 or 5 guys play 35 minutes+ yesterday, and have been doing that for a while. think the depth of unc and the relative ease of their game yesterday is the biggest difference. edit: The core five all played at least 35 minutes — three logged more than 41.
the second on brice was borderline criminal the kennedy one was that soft fuck being an idiot time for isaiah
nd doing the same thing tonight they did yesterday when plumlee went out. not attacking inside. turning the ball over
