Kane just cemented his starting spot for the summer, what a nice goal. Such grit. Amazing turn to get by the defenders and then places it the only spot where the GK couldn't reach it. Pinpoint placement just like the 2 goals against Bournemouth. Embarrassed those poor German defenders, they never stood a chance against our 'Arry.
16 shots, 5 on goal for England. 10 and 2 for Germany. Granted they had a goal incorrectly called off but this has shown some real desire to come back from that deficit.
We have some fairly decent young players. All 4 playing 90 minutes means they should be firmly in Roy's plans for Euro this summer. Especially Kane, Alli, and Dier.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...dele-alli-leaves-even-the-germans-envious-of/ Nice gushing review of Dele's performance.
When Dele inevitably wins the PFA Young POTY award it will make it a tidy 4 out of 5 years for Tottenham lads.
Marcus Edwards scored his 2nd brace in 2 matches for England U18's, we need to tie him down to a new contract asap. His current deal runs out at the end of next season.
Looks like Roy is gonna chop and change almost the entire lineup for the Netherlands match, out of our four starters vs. Germany only Danny Rose is likely to keep his place. Kyle Walker should be coming into the first XI to join him. I'm glad that Harry, Dele, and Eric should be rested for at least the majority of the match. The national team trained at Hotspur Way this afternoon, which makes sense as half the squad are from Tottenham.
No you aren't, if we don't take all 3 points and Leicester get another win it would be just about over.
I honestly think if we take all 3, it'll set the tone for the stretch run and the chase will come down to the final day. We'll see.
Alli is the best young English midfielder since Gazza, according to SAF. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...Tottenham-Sir-Alex-Ferguson-Manchester-United
Vertonghen is close, but I don't expect him to be a part of the squad this weekend. Don't think there's much concern with anyone else at this point.
Toby should be good after coming down sick over the break, he's trained the past 2 days. Lamela and Jan are probably a week away.
Speaking of Lamela, I saw we were working on a long-term deal with him. What an incredible turnaround he's had under Mo.
Yeah he should keep getting better too, he's busted his ass on the defensive end this season on top of doing more going forward. I still think he has another level he can reach as far as goal scoring is concerned. ,
Saw that Kane is finally training without the mask and Clinton is a couple weeks from returning to action
Would like to see him handle the physicality of the game better. Seems to get pushed around too much.
When he first signed he was a lightweight but he gives as good as he gets now, IMO. His improved physicality has been a major reason for his improved performances.
even the official twitter is in on the #bantz Tottenham Hotspur@SpursOfficial ...because @ericdier wasn't nearby. #COYS
can't get a great feel for this one. last time we played pool, the two pressing styles kind of canceled each other out, and this one is at anfield, where we are terrible. thinking it's 0-0 again, but only if dembele is fit and has a good game.
I've been hot most of the season but even more so lately. Hit 7 of my last 9 wagers on soccer, I share the bets with a buddy and he's been very grateful. Last win was the England/Germany over.
Today is rather binary. Win and pure ecstasy Draw/lose and dejection at watching the title slip away and slyly monitoring the standings to ensure top 4 is still a "lock"

I fucking hate that I have to go into work right as the game is starting, this international break has seemed extra long with the anticipation of the title chase.
I just started my week of vacation in time for this game and get to look forward to a couple days at the tournament this week.
