That was more talent in Boulder since...? The Scott, MTM, Katoa class? Fucking filthy. If we fuck up and have a bowl season. Sweet mother of gaaaaaaaaaawd.
What a little bitch he's being. Our coaches have him the damn playbook, opened up the facilities for him last week, and was recruiting players to CU. Thank god he professed himself to be a great leader.
The woe is me mentality is played out, 99% of the issues we've had since 2006 have been self inflicted.
Like the scandal? Self inflicted AD policies and fuck ups. And don't pull that grammar stuff, man. That's just weak.
You try to be the voice of reason here and keep things in perspective yet you're tweeting at Webb. GTFO you little runt.
I haven't tweeted anything to Webb, shouldn't you get your information straight before trying to call someone out?
Maybe I had too many cocktails during the masters. I stand by my comments regardless. You're the worst.
Y'all are all right. Our existence as a fanbase sucks, and practically nothing has gone our way in 15 years. But the urge to chalk it up to bad luck gets really old because it has more to do with bad decisions by the people who have been entrusted with the program. For some reason, fans really like the concept of bad luck, but their lack of success almost always has to do with incompetence (e.g., the Cubs haven't sucked because of a goat. They've sucked because the people running them have sucked. The Red Sox weren't "cursed." They made a ton of bad decisions.) We've made a bunch of bad decisions. It doesn't make the kicks in the nuts the last three days hurt any less.
i know its little consolation but davis was a really bad qb at texas tech and would get murdered savagely instead of simply brutally at a non-air raid school tbh
Exactly -Admitting guilt before any evidence surfaced implicating the school (scandal) -Hiring Hawk -Giving Hawk the 5th year -Hiring Embree -Letting Bohn hire a new coach then firing him months later -Not having a plan for the AD prior to RG The AD was far more concerned with the image of the football program after the "scandal" that the AD way over acted on (recruiting limits, self-imposed violations, etc.). Benson and Phil didn't care about winning until the 2012 season happened. THe state of the program isn't because of bad luck, it's because the leadership was incompetent until 2013 when RG was hired and put a plan in place and Benson and Phil got behind football. We're apparently moving towards the TT offense. I see Webb as a hige plus because at worst case he is a backup to a 4th year starting QB, or a Rs-Fr. who is a great player or he comes in and starts and leads us to 7 wins. Word from a guy on the Rivals CU board who is pretty tuned in is saying that Webb is still coming to CU, but who knows. Apparently he's not visiting Auburn either.
You keep mentioning the scandal and this evidence, but outside of some NCAA infractions for shit that happens at virtually every school from the FBS level down to DIII (i.e. you call up attractive yet slutty girls on recruiting weekends/have party/watch as said whores convince recruits that the quality of pussy at the school is worthy of their commit), I don't remember one fucking kid who was charged with any of the shit the racist ass DA, hack media like Rick Reilly (to defend the "honor" of family friend Katie Hnida from looking like a whore to her Catholic family for flashing teammates like Mike Moschetti in the training room/practice and doing who knows what else), and the "we're sooooooooo liberal but hate black people" citizens of Boulder claimed happened. So not only did a bunch of young black men unjustifiably get painted as rapists for the rest of their lives (somehow I don't see that rep just magically going away even if you apply for a job and they do a background check around the internet), but the "scandal" continues to stick with CU Football to this day and laid the foundation for the rest of the bad decisions that have taken place the past decade (which most of us have had to watch since we were at least old enough to drink as opposed to old enough to stay home without a babysitter when mom and dad are gone). Just look at your mention of it 2x on this page alone - you were what, like 10-12 years old at most when it happened (if you're still in school as someone else suggested) and still talk about it like some girls were raped (as in Baylor level of rape)?
You completely missed my intention, I was saying the AD went batshit over it when there was no evidence to support their decisions. You don't need to lecture me, it was bullshit and there's a reason I lumped it in with my whole incompetence statement.
What a piece of shit Webb is, telling the coaches up until last night he was coming then bails today? I agree with Cornfed here.
Not gunna lie. The Van Diest family is awesome. Steve picked it up for me, JVD modeled it, lol and it should be delivered today. (If JVD decommits I'm burning it)
It's been a long time since we've seen this much momentum in recruiting. If we can somehow manage six wins can't wait to see it explode. Super psyched about Lytle.
