So last night was the first time my wife kinda watched (she was working on a project, not really paying attention). When the opening TV rating didn't have an N, I thought "oh good, at least I won't have any awkward moments." Of course I didn't account for Ramsay going full Ramsay.
mine threw up her arms and walked out of the room saying something like 'I dont know why I even watch this show' after that scene
Kinda saw that one coming, but I'm gonna miss ol Roose. He was a good character and the actor was p damn good
I (very naively) thought that he might let Walda and the baby leave. When he opened the gates to the dogs, he kinda stood there for a moment---and I was thinking about his father's last words, "if you act like a mad dog you'll get treated like a mad dog." I should've known better.
I was grinning from ear to ear when Ramsay locked the gate. Those dogs could feast for a week straight on that ugly fat bitch.
I did too I couldn't tell until they pulled away from that embrace. Both those fuckers are devious enough it could have been either one
You'd think the women folk would begin to be unfazed by these scenes but nope. I just watched mine as she covered her face in horror. Pretty hilarious because she was all "fuck yeah!" during the Mountain and Wun Wun's kill scenes last night.
Gonna be real interesting to see how Ramsay does without the one person around who would pump the brakes on him. Someone that rash needs someone calculating like Roose around...I think we could definitely see Ramsay get in way over his head. Just don't think someone like Ramsay has the stability to lead or rule for any long period of time. Spoiler The Karstark mentioned that if they held the Karstarks, the Manderlys, and one other house I can't remember then they could basically hold control of the entire north. Well, iirc we know Wyman Manderly is appearing in this season and that he hates the Boltons for what they did to Robb and his son at the Twins. I think we see Jon march south with his wildling army, meet with and convince Wyman to join forces, and fuck up the Boltons. Roose being dead and the prospect of having to follow Ramsay will probably unite most of the minor Northern houses with Jon. They probably will get the support of the third house as well. We get the battle in the fire with Jon defeating the Boltons at Winterfell as Mel predicted. Most of this is pretty obvious
Yea mine is all about Ollie and Thorne getting Thorne to pieces by ghost, but anything Ramsey does gets her very animated and angry. In her defense that scene was really disturbing. He could have at least done it a little quicker and less brutal.
I think we see Sansa make it to castle black and her and John unite a few northern houses. Then Ramsey is going to March to castle black with whatever support he has and be really surprised to see that John has an army of wildlings, a Brienne of tarth, a dire wolf, and a fucking giant. And then John takes over winterfell and prepares for the real war that we all know is coming
Wouldn't mind a book entitled A Feast for Hounds that spends 600 pages describing that feast and ensuing aftermath. I would like it told from the POV of every dog, Ramsay, fat whore, and baby.
My wife and I both kind of laughed like "that damn Ramsay". I guess I unsurprisingly married a coldhearted bitch. She also commented on the outline of Jon's dick, so I'm pretty sure she's a whore, too. I had no idea who was stabbing whom at first. Could have easily gone either way.
Walder Frey's ancient ass is coming after Ramsey too. Don't think Jon is gonna want to team up with them though.
Yes, same here. Is this where he is "changed" from his latest ordeal with death and maybe he isn't so forgiving.
He wasn't very forgiving to begin with. He beheaded Janos Slynt just for being a dick. Thorne and Ollie are done for
Eh. Slynt, the cunt, disobeyed commands and defied the Lord Commander in front of the Nights Watch. He had to get got. If Slynt had been paying attention to the Stark way, he should've realized his defiance was no way to become the head of a major corporation.
Do we think that treason and murdering the Lord Commander is less severe than Slynt disobeying a command?
Oh no, I was just saying that Slynt didn't lose his chance to get ahead in life by just being a dick... Ollie and Thorne will get what's coming to them.
the head of whoever those soldiers were telling cersei to get back upstairs was pretty damn funny to me
I'm a GoT fan in the sense that I've never read a page of the books and don't really do any research on episodes during the week or in-between seasons, so forgive my question, because I'm simply forgetting: What happened/where is Littlefinger?
I don't know what this name is, so I googled it. I may have forgotten the name being given to him but for now its a spoiler risk.
Iirc the last time we actually saw him was in King's Landing when he met with Lady Olenna in the brothel and they talked about their involvement in killing Joffrey.
No, he brought Sansa to Winterfell before that. He received that letter from Cersei requesting that he come to King's Landing while he was talking to Roose Bolton.
For the none book readers, I think this is a pretty good break down of what happened last night and how it relates to past events on the show. http://www.businessinsider.com/is-jon-snow-back-2016-4
I was a little bit disappointed but that maybe because I already had such high expectations for POWESHOW before I watched it
