Anna Hickey said Tarik Black is a silent commit But he's still taking all of his officials so it's pointless really
Well, I am officially into my 4th decade. Currently downing water at the pool recovering from a weekend in Vegas. All in all an ok 30th so far
Welcome to the club. Put ons your loafers well make it a rager drinking brandy and staying up past nine
so sounds like he got a great contract. lot guaranteed and per angelo di carlo (local NBC for those not hip to the south bend sports reporters), will make more than some first round picks next year.
Heading over to Chicago in Oct/Nov for the Ireland v New Zealand rugby game and looking at taking in a game the weekend before, most likely ND-Miami now. Questions- 1) I presume South Bend is good craic on game nights? 2) Any accommodation suggestions? 3) Anything decent around Indiana apart from SB? Ta.
Oh lord. Literally my favorite thing. Book a hotel now if you want to stay in south bend. Especially if it's Miami. Hotels go fast and south bend/ND is not as big as you may think. You can also come in from Chicago and get back on game day pretty easily if that intrigues you, 2 hour or so drive. Once you settle where you are staying, if you'll have a car, etc. let us know. I and others here love to welcome new folks.
We're getting in on Friday early enough to Chicago. Our goal is drinking and avoiding jet lag so likely going to stay in SB for two nights so we can get comfortable. Not against being 30-40 mins away in an AirBnB and Ubering around the place. Very early stages on the plan...
In that case, I recommend the holiday inn express in niles, MI, hence the name, should be available and reasonable. You do that and I can tailor a trip easily. Otherwise anything in Elkhart, or even as far as st. Joeseph Michigan is viable.
Clearly it's not a committable offer if he has not committed already Maybe down the road that status will change... Stay tuned folks
it'd be cool if anyone wanted to share articles and/or comments from Irish boards. you can slide into my dm's
So did I read an update recently where Kelly said he is now of the opinion that he'll be running a two qb system this fall? Did anyone else hear that as well? This would be quite the 180 - although if done correctly, could be deadly.
I would maybe assume that this might mean something along the lines of Kizer playing between the 20s and Zaire the option in the Red Zone? I am not a fan of them alternating series like they did in that bowl game with Zaire and Golson.

Not overly worried for a few reasons, we have a lot of talent on the ol, offensive linemen usually stay longer and guards are not bound to get drafted in the first 15. But he won't need another year, he is already very strong. I would probably tell him to jump if i was a member of his family. But i am not so he should graduate. :)
we could have two legit first rounders on the oline in next year's draft (definitely in 2018 draft if the both stay another year) after a first and third (Zach and Watt) and a first and second last year...that's some impressive stuff from Hiestand
I can't believe that was the story from Tennessee, he's only been the best OL coach in the country while here. And he still may reel in the Sarrell kid.
Really looking forward to the O Line and a good group of backs establishing a consistent running game and taking the heat off of a young receiving corps.
do we have any word on how folston is *actually* doing? i'm sure there are reports that he's more physically fit than ever, the knee is in great shape, etc. but do we really have two (or +) backs or is it adams and a spell back?
And i was just kidding with the pics, he runs It. I am the Guy getting annoyed when people complain about Kelly passing
