Did someone ask him specifically about Julian or did he say that unprompted. If prompted, then it is meaningless player speak that should be taken with a huge grain of salt. If not, then perhaps his career still has a chance.
Pulisic just scored against City in injury time to send the ICC match to penalties Was final kick of regulation
Yes sir. Got the 3rd in the 35th minute Clips are in the prospects thread since he hasn't had an appearance in a while
Guzan moves to Middlesbrough on a 2 year deal. They still have their #1 from last year and brought in Victor Valdes also
If he can't beat an old ass Victor Valdes then he shouldn't be the starting keeper imo And I'm a big Guzan fan
How do you guys feel about the MLS vs Europe debate? I don't follow MLS closely enough to have a well formed opinion about the league's competition level but I would prefer players spending more time in Europe than MLS. Having said that, if you're just gonna ride the bench in Europe but can start at a good team in MLS then it might be a better choice. I still think that even the lower leagues in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, etc.) or lower level clubs in the bigger leagues is the way to go. I would actually prefer that young players go there first before trying their luck in the big clubs/leagues. For example, Alexis Sanchez went to River Plate (Argentina), Udinese (Serie A) and then Barcelona.

@JeffreyCarlisle: League source tells me that Bedoya transfer fee is $1M w/salary between $750k and $850k.
if they play him in a deep lying role like I have been reading and he succeeds I could see it being good for the USMNT in the long run, but it's tough to get excited when any of these guys take a step down in competition.
Yes. Should be one of the better players in MLS and was never going to be good enough to progress into Europe's bigger leagues.
yea. I'm just sad to see him leave Nantes and Ligue 1. Need to get an back in Ligue 1 (I think we're down to 0 now).
I wouldn't mind Julian getting loaned to a Ligue 1 squad where he could start. Nantes is in desperate need for strikers... **ahem**
It's pretty exciting right now. We've had young promising prospects before but I can't ever remember so many getting play with very good clubs
Miazga is getting loaned out to Eintracht Frankfurt of the Bundesliga. Hopefully he can get some playing time there
As much as I hope he stays in germany, that's a shit ton of money for a 17 year old fairly unproven prospect. Seems like dortmund would be crazy not to sell him for that.
it'll say a lot about bvb and what kind of potential they believe pulisic has if they decline that offer holy crud
Luca de la Torre with a hockey assist on Fulham's game winning goal vs. Boro in League Cup today. Starts at 1:50
Please don't sell bvb. I don't want to see Pulisic in the EPL preferably ever but certainly not for another 10 years.
