I was listening a couple years back, the Raven was from a guy who was mutual friends w/ guys that I played intramural soccer with. Told a story about tearing his scrotum trying to play soccer. I was in tears. Methinks the Ravens are genuine
Going to the Live Pod in Chicago tonight. Really looking forward to it. They're also hosting a meet n greet afterwards, that should be a lot of fun
Does anyone know if they show up on everyone around the worlds FIFA front page or just Americans? I guess I'm a soccer podcast hipster because the bigger they get, the less I listen. I bet they haven't talked about Ms. Patmore for ages.
Idk. They're one of the bigger reasons I became more interested in soccer ( and picked Everton) the past 5 years or so. They still feel like the same guys that are fun, love soccer and dont take themselves too seriously. I dont think I'll every stop listening to them as long as that stays the same. GFOP
I used to be a weekly listener but their format got tiring for me and I just kind of forgot about them.
This was more me but I recently resubscribed on my phone and hope to start listening again. I've listened to their summer interviews
I listen to them in season a lot. I dont really care about MLS so during the summer I only really listen if it's an interview that sounds interesting. Tonight will be MLS heavy obviously, but still look forward to seeing them live
Yea same. Still think they are good I just don't listen anymore. Still follow on Twitter as they are still funny and whatnot but just not on the pod rotation anymore.
They interviewed the British Ambassador to the USA. "In your career, you've met Vladmir Putin, Saddam Hussein, Slobodan Milosovic. Where does Diego Costa rank?" Almost spit out my coffee.
Suggesting Rami Malek star in an Ozil biopic And a GFOP emailing that “Sunderland til I die” should’ve been nominated for foreign language film
Describing the Xhaka goal this past weekend “Like David De Gea was distracted by a Real Madrid pre-contract buried under the left post”
I am not a huge podcast listener, and I had fallen off the MiB pod, but I got my dad into it. They just announced they're doing a tour this summer and my dad got two tickets for KC. Pretty excited to go.
It's his dad's money. Apparently he's widely hailed as the creator of corporate investogating firms and is a multi billionaire.
Went last year to the one in Atlanta. Had really good front row seats and was a blast. Awesome getting to see us anytime they show footage of it on their NBCSN show (think most recently when they had Killer Mike on).
