I thought I had already made it clear that I absolutely do understand that you are simple and what's wrong with America. You're the embodiment of what is Trump.
Repub questions will be > why didn't you tell congress or resign immediately > why didn't you realize Trump was just joking > what was being done about all of this leaking and unmasking > are you confident acting director McCabe will reopen and complete the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails
This is what we were getting at yesterday. The Republican party might be better off impeaching Trump and getting Pence to push their agenda, but Trumpers would leave the party so fast that they would be fucked in 2018/2020. So handing the keys to this guy has really fucked their agenda.
I feel like there can't be that many Trump purists that would actually leave the GOP voting bloc but what do I know
Kelly quickly went from "this dude should work with Mattis to reign Trump in" to "fuck him, I hope he gets raped for eternity in hell" rather quickly.
Well it's not like they'll vote for a Democrat in 2020, and it's unlikely they just stay home after realizing their combined retard strength let them elect a lunatic. So I don't see them actually leaving and not voting for the GOP again, as nice as that would be.
I didn't agree with this like two weeks ago but the more I thought about it the more convinced it's probably the closest thing to the reality. I can't even imagine what he'd do if Republicans turned on him. Just call in to fox every day killing people? Create his own political party? Not sure there's anything he wouldn't do to inflict pain on the Republicans.
The Trump base is so deeply dug in their worship of the guy, that I just see too many of them seeing Republicans impeaching him as an act of betrayal and they will stay home/form their own party.
You also have to consider the moderates will swing left when this is all said and done. I considered myself moderate before all this and now I can't see myself ever voting republican again.
A large portion of them literally believe he would have prevented the civil war from happening if he had been alive then
This is what I don't get from the GOP, they have to see that this is the writing on the wall, and after alienating the Millenial generation and probably a good portion of Gen-X, they will likely have an extremely hard time winning Presidential election any time soon as the Baby Boomers die off. The only "Republican" I'd even consider voting for as President is Charlie Baker, and he's closer to a Democrat than anything in the Washington DC GOP.
That was in response to a black guy in the oval office who was taking over healthcare with death panels
In retrospect maybe. But Palin killed McCain's chances every time she opened her mouth. Spoiler Though she is a remarkably nice person to speak with.
Question #1: will you make the fake news Russian investigation go away? It's so unfair and fake news. Here's your copy of the electoral map.
Is this the kind of change we were expecting this to bring to the phony fake news media false Russian narrative?
Dan Rather · 18 hrs · I end each of my days with a silent prayer for my country. It has been a ritual for some time, but as of late I feel an anxiety gripping my heart and a sadness permeating my soul that seems unlike anything I have felt before. I hope against hope as I slip off to sleep that our rapid descent into governmental chaos has hit a nadir - only to awaken to a new set of incoherent tweets or explosive headlines from top-notch reporters. And with that, we are falling once again. As I fall, we fall, even further, I pray again that our Constitutional government, the great gift of our Founding Fathers, will provide a safety net to catch us before everything we hold dear is no more. I believe that is the case, but the slowly rising level of uncertainty is not to be ignored. I see recklessness where we need leadership... and I am deeply saddened. I see politicians putting power and politics over principle... and I am incredulous. I see lies treated as truths... and I am disgusted. I see justice denied and likely obstructed.... and I am fearful. I see norms flaunted... and I am angry. I see global challenges going unaddressed... and I am worried. I see the press under attack... and I am furious. I see this, and more, so much more... and I am exhausted. I find myself returning in my mind to dark days from the past, trying to remember how we as a nation felt, when Pearl Harbor was attacked, when Kennedy was shot, when Watergate took down a President, when terrorists rained terror from the skies. We somehow overcame. And I do believe that we shall overcome, someday. Perhaps, hopefully, someday soon. But in the end, prayer will not be enough. Action, sustained action, will be required.
Obviously most R will just vote R as will Evangelicals, etc, but the Brietbart types even if that is only 3-8% will likely stay home (vote for some 3rd Party, etc). Also could easily see some of the Uneducated Whites who swung the election for Trump not going for a standard issue R and swing back to D. More people loyal to Trump over the R Flag than people would think, I would speculate.
Nope, no bell. Just pure vegetable. Then park him in front of a TV showing nothing but people criticizing him.
