Only time I've ever had a problem receiving messages is when a Verizon user sent them and even then it is really rare. I'm an AT&T user, FWIW.
My wife has issues with this on Fi after coming from an iPhone. I've not had issues on Fi, but I've had an Android forever.
This is more of an iMessage issue than a Fi issue. She probably still has text conversations that originated in iMessage and the sender's phone is probably still trying to send texts to her phone via iMessage. In order to get texts from those conversations on Android she just has to have the other person in that conversation delete the conversation and start a new one.
Yes and their insurance plan is great as well. Also they'll usually send you free shit for preordering.
have it, been great haven't tried international yet, first place going it doesn't work but its a big outlier
I haven't tried it either but my girlfriend went to London, Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos in June and it was flawless. Her bill was only $4 higher thanks to WiFi calling.
https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/10/09/google-pixel-2-2xl-trade-in/ $325 for the P2XL 64GB - unlikely to make the plunge, but maybe the camera samples change me.
Anyone doing a trade in make sure you get plenty of pictures and videos of your phone before you send it in. Google screwed alot of people with trade ins last year
I still owe 500 bucks on my pixel XL 2 payment plan. I just can't justify trading that in for a new 1000 dollar phone and still owe 150 on the other
so is this pixel 3 xl worth it? need a new phone - my battery on the nexus 6p has shat the bed - i essentially have to have it plugged in all the time now.
Would love to geek out on new tech but there's nothing wrong with my 2XL and it's my favorite phone I've ever owned.
Traded my Pixel in last year and it was fine. Took awhile to get the credit but no issue other than that. I did hear alot of people go screwed on the value. Love my 2XL. But I also Loved my original Pixel. Just decided I will stay current and pay Google $40 a month till I die.
Man these fuckers are expensive, especially the smaller one. Was sure I was going from s6 to pixel 3, now not so sure.
I've been having issues with my charging port on my 2 and already warrantied it once. Decided to just get the new one and take the trade
How much do you think the Pixel 2 will be? I'm not gonna pay $800 for a new phone, nor will I pay $30-40 a month for eternity.
Slow as fucking hell OS updates is why I just can't go with a Samsung again. Plus my battery life after less than 2 years on the S8 is really starting to go to shit.
My 6p's battery was barely functional last year when I got the 2xl. More power to you gentlemen riding it out for 3 years
You noticed any dropoff in battery performance on your 2xl? I feel like mine is as good as the day I got it a year later.
they increased the warranty to 2 years on the Pixel 2/ 2XL IIRC. That should help cover some battery issues that might show up.
This happens on every phone, it's a battery issue and they all get the same batteries. My Pixel was the worst I've seen with this, though the insurance/warranty is great for it and easily swaps for a new one.
I received the email after I pre-ordered, contacted pixel help, and they're crediting me the $50. If you get google emails the $50 off was in there.
I don't see it in my email...the only email i received has subject > New from Google: Pixel 3, Google Home Hub, Pixel Slate
just got a $50 offer email from Google. Didn't read, but sounds like its for play store after you've bought your Pixel 3 ,e.g. helpful for other cheaper items, accessories, cases etc.
Got the $50 email. Sounds like you get it after you get your phone. Also my Pixel 3XL shipped today and I will have it Friday.
The microphone on my Pixel XL just died and 2 weeks out of warranty. Looks like I might be getting a Pixel 3 XL.
