Of course. No argument there. But if someone says OJ was guilty in civil court, you understand what he's saying. Only a lawyer would be all "YOU USED THE WRONG LEGAL TERM!!!" It's like someone saying they are wearing Jordan 1s and someone has to point out they are mids. To the average person, it's the same thing.
Hi, non-lawyer, just an asshole, but I’ve corrected people on this. I also have no concern wearing J1 Mids (or replicas/fakes)
no, because I know you’re not found guilty in a civil court. A better argument is not guilty vs innocent. Guilty vs liable aren’t remotely the same thing if you know what the words mean. It’s not semantics it is literal definitions of the words.
Man the prosecution/plaintiff wins and the defendant loses in guilty and liable so if you can't grasp what someone says when they say guilty in a civil case that's on you. Sure it's technically the wrong term but you should be able to understand the intent.
only brain surgeons and corporate lawyers can understand things as complex as like this, know your lane
literally no one would do this. I would never have to worry about not being able to grasp something that would never happen.
Gotta wear those highs to ensure ankle integrity whilst sprinting to the fresh tray of mac & cheese at the Golden Corral
something frown upon because they are generally made with inferior material and unlike lows and highs MJ never worn them. Honestly it’s a tiny difference in the cut of the shoe. I have some mids that I like (Milan and Breds). TBQH Nike and Jordan have played a part in making them undesirable.
dblplay1212 when you meet a black person for the first time, over/under 2 minutes until you mention your sneaker collection?
its not the point he thinks it is. See all black peoples like sneakers and only black peoples like sneakers
I couldn't care less what others think about it. I fully understand its unusual and not for everyone.
lol no dude that likes sneakers gives a flying fuck if you don’t like them. I like bourbon, tattoos, sneakers, video games, bulldogs, ucla sports. Guess how much I care if you take any of that stuff serious. I’ll wait guess how much.
I have my own weird issues I keep to myself for the most part, you brought yours up for clarity in this thread it was fucking weird, keep it in sneaker thread imo
But the shoes I collect are highly coveted mostly by white European guys. The shoes I collect aren't well known in the US. Jordans dominate in the US and that's not my thing. I'd be the shit if I lived in Amsterdam though.
I didn’t even realize it was unusual. I thought that was a pretty recognized hobby some have. I don’t personally do it. Mostly because I can’t justify the money on shoes. But I always just figured it was a pretty normal, widely known hobby.
i know this is a weird point to make but I watched an episode of Blackish which dealt with this. Sneaker culture is so broad that only those that don’t understand it actually think it’s a “black” or “urban” thing . Sneaker culture is not unlike any other thing men like. If you aren’t part of it you won’t understand it.
If assuming DBL is an awkward white dude who ignorantly tries to relate to others through his out of character obsession is wrong, I APOLOGIZE
Do you think I'm some socially awkward dude? Bc man I have some news for you. I'm a lot of things but not that.
