My warlock on Old Blanchy hit 72 last night. Release has been very poorly timed for me, can't get any time off work
i'm only 76 on wotlk classic so far. taking my time leveling and i'm rly enjoying it vs poopsocking to 80 and then burning out
I'm definitely going to take my sweet time leveling my alt. The zones are extremely well done and engaging, like a huge step up over vanilla and tbc. But rushing to 80 on my main has def paid off so far
After torturing myself rolling fury Warrior in vanilla classic and rushing to 60 I skipped TBC and rolled Pally for wrath. Don't care how overpopulated they are, it's so easy. Taking my time this time around. Hit 77 last night, got epic flying and built the epic flyer for engineers and I'm hooked again. Full disclosure I bought the character boost and started at lvl 70 to avoid burnout
yeah i brought my mouse and mousepad to the office bc i plan on dicking around once everyone dips out around noon
I can confirm that skiedfrillet is good at leveling I think we did like 40 levels in a day once and then never talked on there again
i think this was before the individual raid lock thing was implemented? i feel like i remember someone trolling a raid by engaging sarth, locking all of us to that raid id, and then suiciding
I honestly don't know how anyone cleared anything back in the day. Connection speeds and DBM alone make it a hundred times easier.
But KT was never downed and Muru took like a month and a half to get world first on back in the day, and both of them were dead within an hour of release in classic. Things are very different now
the trash mobs in tempest keep were so idiotically overtuned for the time and i swear we had at least one person die on the ssc elevator every run back
I have a few characters parked on Faeralina, but queues have been laughable. Might have to make a new one on a different server. Any Alliance players around? I'd like to give Alliance a try for a change.
Got our first Sarth 3D 25 man kill last night. One shot it. I went through 3 different felguards over the course of the fight
seriously. I've been on the same p server for over a decade now. when I was playing seriously we were a 3 LoD/4 RS guild and our main run we had a hardline no game comms rule. it's hilarious to just do a run and not need to call out straps, taunts, sindy debuffs, etc. and people just pew pew.
I did the DK starting zone for my retail mount. This concludes my classic enjoying. You got your kids farming herbs for you yet?
No and I really need to. Demo uses flame caps, which are fucking impossible to find. They're currently 55g per on the AH
Used the anniversary bonus and prepatch to get some alts to 60. Will probably start with my og druid for Dragonflight
been playing the shit out of my wotlk classic DK this weekend. guess i'm gonna dl dragonflight and lvl my shm up this week and see what the xpac is all about. feels like a completely different game from classic though
I leveled in SL and hit max level and then immediately my laptop died. I typically get the urge when i see people raiding, but i just dont have the time liek i used to when i played.
