Reports coming out they’ve found 21 dead hostages in khan younis. Guessing this is why the prisoner exchange stopped
Hamas rejected a 2 month ceasefire in exchange for a release of hostages and corresponding Palestinian prisoners and Hamas leaders leaving Gaza
Yeah, they're just killing people for fun, now. For the fuck of it. For kicks. I don't think there's much of Hamas left at this point other than the fuckhead higher ups living the good life in Qatar. The deadliest attack on IDF soldiers was from their own people fucking up with high explosives while they were blowing up civilians' homes (war crime) as they ethnically cleanse (war crime) the strip. Oh, and one of Bibi's ministers is urging the IDF to use nukes on Gaza to kill the rest of them, and there's Israeli civilian protesters blocking aid trucks into the territory. It's absolutely fucked that the Biden Administration is continuing to support this shit. Complete fucking madness - totally unforgiveable.
WSJ had a piece the other day saying 20-30% of Hamas forces have been KIA and around another 20-30% wounded and off the battlefield. Hamas puts out updates of their attacks almost every day. They turned down a ceasefire yesterday.
was it a permanent cease fire offer? Or just a pause? also, the WSJ is a right wing rag. Fox News for people with a decent retirement fund. meanwhile, I'm sure this will end well:
Why would they accept that? As soon as they do that, there'll be some violation of the ceasefire - either real or trumped up by IDF - and Israel will turn the round the clock bombing back on.
Can you explain the point of a ceasefire at this point, when Israel has made it pretty clear that they plan on ending Palestine’s existence? Like, hey guys let’s trade some folks and then we’ll continue wiping everyone out and finally reach one state.
to get aid to people that need it and then hopefully things have cooled off and some sort of lasting peace can be obtained.
Watching the State Department send spox after spox to go out there and shit on themselves when faced with questions from the foreign press (domestic press is basically worthless) is amusing at least:
Yeah, I mean, obviously Hamas is as bad at the Israeli regime, it's absolutely fucked that thousands of people are going to continue to die from bombs and disease and are powerless to do anything about it.

Bibi and his team of ghouls must just love watching Biden and his dumbfucks at State and Defense twist themselves in knots trying to justify and defend continued support for genocide and war crimes. What Israel is doing is indefensible. Like that fucking goober they rolled out there today. "durrr, I don't know the facts on the ground..." Fuck you. It's a 2 minute video, dumbass. An old man holding a white flag got shot dead inside the so called 'safe zone' for absolutely no reason in front of a British TV news crew. Then they shot at some kids. Those are the "facts on the ground."
new Owen Jones' piece is to be read. I'm going to try to take a break from posting in this thread and indeed from the war for a day or 3 because it's burning me out, but this column is to be read. Like, nothing will ever be the same after this war; it's hard to overstate how poorly this paints the United States - all of us... and how unpredictable the consequences will be.
Are you familiar with this person? I see he has other tweets talking about his Princeton PhD but can’t seem to find what his PhD is in. Just a general curiosity.
Check out this video posted by Islamic jihad. At 50 seconds a “civilian” firing mortar rounds and a small child can be heard nearby.
because it points out the flaws with just saying oh Israel shot someone. You don’t know who shot, it didn’t sound like sniper fire, and the video is inexplicably edited so you can’t even tell what happened. There’s machine gun fire, everyone runs, the video cuts off and when it cuts back someone is on the ground.
the left critique of liberal democracy being perfectly encapsulated in israel is very fitting. note i'm referencing critiques going back to einstein of how this was going to play out. i don't even always agree with the critiques but man if you want an example they nailed

ICJ ruling came in today - Israel requested the case be dismissed - denied - South Africa requested a cease fire - denied - Israel must let aid in and minimize casualties - Hamas must unconditionally release the hostages - Investigation will begin - can take years to get findings
Oh look its the hospital bombing denier back and outraged about October 7th while completely ignoring/caping for the thousands of atrocities israel has committed since then
Like look at how much these dipshits gloated only for Israel to continue to bomb every single hospital in gaza with impunity. The amount of knots you have to twist yourself into being a zionist apologist
Lol. (1) I was right (2) You don’t pay much attention if you think I’m an apologist for Israel or it’s campaign. Israel was founded on terror—first against the British and then the Arab inhabitants. Has committed terrorism against the US.I’m not a particularly fan of the country and hate Netenyahu. (3) it seems particularly noteworthy when a UN aid organization has to fire employees for being involved in terrorism.
