Carolina also has a Michigan football type of team. A few Covid seniors who don’t shoot themselves in the foot like we do. So, if Pringle could limit his dick hand turnovers to offset carolinas smart level of play with the ball, that would be a good start.
Pringle needs to be huge tonight. Nelson needs to be able to hold his own and provide SOMETHING. He doesn’t need to be a 15-10 guy tonight but he’s got to be some type of threat to score.
Fifth-year senior center David Skogman of Davidson averaged 13.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season. He played his first two years at Buffalo, and Skogman is the rare stretch five, shooting 40.7 percent on three-pointers in his career. Skogman, who played in 17 games this season, reached double figures in 11 contests, with his season ending Jan. 24. He had 30 points and seven boards in a 85-81 win at Charlotte on Nov. 29, and he had 24 points and went 5 of 8 on three-pointers in a 69-64 loss vs. Richmond in overtime Jan. 20. :eyeball emoji:
Super efficient player. Not a much to write home about defensively, but a major offensive weapon at the 5 spot. https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/david-skogman-1.html
A 10:00 PM east coast start time for the #1 seed is ludicrous, but great for west coast best coast time zone
Gonna be dragging tomorrow morning. And yeah not a chance this game starts on time. I’ll expect a 10-10:15 EST range.
Actually works out great for me. Flying back from Seattle now. Will be on my couch for tip. btw - went to The Walrus & the Carpenter again last night. So god damn delicious. Posted up with a work buddy at their amaro bar after. Bar tender poured me like 5 different cordials to taste. Amazing spot.
Well SummerOfGeorge and I are heading into this evening with a realistic expectation towards the outcome. To everyone else, there's no reason to wake up tomorrow and be sick about basketball season being over for us. My plan for the evening is a couple old fashion cocktails and just enjoy it Hopefully we run the floor so fast Bacot can't keep up but if he does and they eat us alive I won't lose sleep and might even make a trip to McDonald's tomorrow for lunch to celebrate the burger boiz coming in this summer.
So pumped about not having work tomorrow. Late game tonight and Braves opening day tomorrow… what a time to be alive
You mean Walrus and Carpenter? So damn good, best oyster spot in the city. And The Barnacle, right next door in the same building, is a great spot as well.
I transitioned to night shift for a month for work so I’m just waking up. Great for these games that will end at 0200est.
This is looking like a pretty terrible situation https://weartv.com/news/local/37-ye...n-the-gulf-off-grayton-beach-in-walton-county
Finally getting some spread picks on Bama. Bob's Analysis: There no secret Alabama’s defense is not the greatest. However, they’re going to push the pace to get their points. The Tar Heels went down by 12-points early to Michigan State and fought their way back to an easy cover. Alabama comes off a game where they shot 8-31 from three, so they could be in for some positive regression and if they aren’t falling early, they’re still going to shoot. The Crimson Tide have athletic players down low to compete with Bacot and Ingram to get some much-needed stops. Zack's Analysis: North Carolina was a trendy team to go down in their last game against Michigan State. The Spartans just could not execute enough in the half court on two occasions with a big lead and a comeback in the second half. Alabama offensively is going to give North Carolina problems with their flurry of runs and the high level play of Mark Sears. They may survive but the result will favor the underdog. Grab the points with Alabama.
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: With tipoff about two hours out, North Carolina is laying 4.5 points in BetMGM's March Madness Sweet 16 odds market. Sunday night, the Tar Heels opened -4.5 (-105), and the line toggled between -4.5 and -3.5 (-115)/-3.5 (-120) on Monday. The line spent the past couple days locked at UNC -4.5, then jumped to -5.5 (even) early this evening. It's since reverted to -4.5 flat, but it's all Carolina on the spread, with tickets and money in the 5/1 range. "There's a ton of UNC money. We'll need 'Bama to keep this close," BetMGM trader Seamus Magee said. On the moneyline at BetMGM, tickets are close to even, with a modest lean toward UNC. But moneyline dollars are running 2.5/1-plus on the Tar Heels. The total opened at 173.5 and bounced up to 174.5 a couple times this week, Monday and today. It's currently 174.5, with 64% of tickets/60% of cash on the Under.
Going to be extremely tough to beat UNC without wrightsell. Griffen or Estrada are going to have to go off from 3
I also really hate it for Wrightsell dude transfers. Balls out all year. Only to get hurt and miss crucial games. Then he comes back, has another issue. Misses a game. Has another issue and is going to miss the S16 game too. That’s brutal. Hate it for him.
