This happened in my town a few weeks ago. Off duty cop got road rage, argued with the man in cfa parking lot, and then jumped in his car and shot him. I was so pissed it took this long because there were probably 5 witnesses.
the most fragile humans on the planet while wearing body armor, carrying weapons, and having nigh-unassailable immunity from criminal proceedings against them. breathtaking irony.
Fucking POS killed his ex-wife, current girlfriend, fled with his one-year-old, then killed himself after a pursuit in Oregon. https://www.king5.com/article/news/...hool/281-67a9c376-443b-4a06-a50d-3f31442f026b
Met him when she was in middle school and he was a school resource officer. Pregnant at 15. Fucking cooool.
Umm how was he allowed to be out with these charges? A 17-year-old girl said she was drinking with Huizar and her 16-year-old friend, according to court documents. The teen told officers her friend threw up so she started to take care of her. She recalled waking up later to see Huizar performing the sexual act on her 16-year-old friend, court documents detailed. The 17-year-old, who shares a child with Huizar, left the home with her friend to report the incident to authorities. According to court documents, Huizar started following the teen girls but he stopped when they found officers. That night officers went to Huizar's home, but he refused to come out. The SWAT team was called in and two hours later he was taken into custody, according to court documents. Police said in court documents it appeared Huizar was cleaning the sheets the 16-year-old slept on when they entered the home. The 17-year-old met Huizar when he was a school resource officer at her middle school. According to his court documents, the teen was pregnant when she was 15 and had their baby when she turned 16.
Yea, looks like that, but since the cops were directing traffic it may have just been all reds at the intersection. That cop’s leg bent sideways though, that much is clear from the video.
Good thing he did not have his gun in his hand, he might have shot instead of kicking. That is just a funny video, but could have been tragic. So many cops are on a power trip
I know exactly where that’s at and yeah he just stuck his foot out there. Wondering if it was last weekend due to the Ironman marathon.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/09/us/roger-forston-florida-airman-shot/index.html “Hearing sounds of a disturbance, (a deputy) reacted in self-defense after he encountered a 23-year-old man armed with a gun and after the deputy had identified himself as law enforcement,” the sheriff said. “The deputy shot the man, who later succumbed to his injuries,” said the sheriff. Fortson heard two separate knocks at the door and – the witness said – when no one could be seen through the peephole, Fortson retrieved his gun, which was legally owned, according to Crump. The deputy then allegedly burst into the apartment and shot Fortson. The witness said law enforcement responded to the wrong apartment, and there was no disturbance there at the time, Crump said in a news release. According to Crump, the witness said Fortson was alone at the time. Her relationship to Fortson was not disclosed. Deputies communicated with dispatch that Fortson had been shot six times with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest with one exit wound, according to police dispatch calls, obtained by CNN affiliate WEAR. Officers can be heard saying that there was a “disturbance … physical in progress,” in the dispatch calls, WEAR reported. “Fortson was assigned to the 4th Special Operations Squadron. He entered active duty on Nov. 19, 2019,” said a statement from the Air Force, which noted the shooting occurred at Fortson’s off-base residence.
Sooooo what crime did he commit? The cop that walks around with a gun 24/7 freaked out bc someone else had a gun. “Hearing sounds of a disturbance, (a deputy) reacted in self-defense after he encountered a 23-year-old man armed with a gun and after the deputy had identified himself as law enforcement,” the sheriff said.
Wow, did you not watch the video, he opened the door while holding a gun, that’s definitely illegal for a black man.
I’ve been so program to know that cops see my life as less than that my instincts are to never give a cop an excuse. I am also constantly amazed at how normal it is to some to just go to the door with a gun in your hand.
I’m assuming since it said the person was alone that they were concerned enough to call someone, and that’s why we have a witness stating that the dude couldn’t see anyone through the peephole and such. So in that situation, it’s not exactly a normal encounter when you aren’t expecting someone.
I get where you're coming from, but when you have someone banging on your day saying police and there's no reason for police to be there, I get being a little suspect. Or maybe he didn't hear police and was sketched out someone was banging when he wasn't expecting someone. It's not something I would do, I don't have guns in my house, but like I said earlier, there's no reason foe us to even have the conversation bc he didn't do anything wrong. Cops can't freak out at the mere sigh of a gun when they expect us to be totally cool with them walking around with then 24/7.
You’re right it’s a discussion for a different time. Guy should be alive because like you guys have said he didn’t do anything wrong.
My comment was not really addressed towards you, just reminding dbl that it’s illegal for POC to exercise their 2nd amendment rights.
I agree which is kinda the way I meant my post to sound like. POC know they aren’t afforded the same rights. I don’t think I could properly explain my feelings in a short post. So like I said this man should be alive because he didn’t do anything wrong and anything I say might sound like I’m putting some blame on him which I’m not.
"A mom is suing the City of Santa Fe, Texas, after police handcuffed her and held her into a bed of fire ants, her attorney claims." “Ants are on my face, ants are getting on my face, please!” Ms Rogers could be heard yelling in a police bodycam video shared with KHOU 11. “How can y’all do this? Ants are on my face! Please let go!” "Police also argued there were no fire ants nearby and that they treated the woman with respect and dignity." Gonna go out on a limb and say I believe her that there were ants there..... https://www.yahoo.com/news/video-shows-cops-holding-mom-210811049.html
