“Since he doesn’t have to throw pitches hard” great insight Dave Dirty Dom more of a Jamie Moyer type starter apparently
Will be a good test to see if Dom can keep his nuclear heat. The audience can tend to be sympathetic to wrestlers with a long term injury.
Imagine thinking you’re too good to lose in the most prestigious wrestling tournament in the world for non-heavyweights when you’re wrestling in TNA and on the indies
I feel like Shawn having a wrestling podcast is where this ends up. Six hours, four nights a week breaking down 30 year old NJPW matches. We can make dollars bankrolling this. Dollars I say!
Sometimes I have to sit on hold on the phone for a while and can't really do anything else until I get off hold so alas this is what happens.
With Smackdown going to USA and RAW moving to Netflix... curious if the bloodline is "traded" to RAW on Monday after being selected #1 tonight because Solo and Tama do some crazy shit to Aldis and or HHH. With Smackdown getting the #1 pick I can't see how you in Kayfabe not select the Bloodline. Last week's warning and setup makes that hypothetical seem possible.
He was doing well, he'll get a lot of shit for the Harvey comment though, could have just said Coca Cola to get his point across lol
Nobody gets upset that you listen to a garage band. They get upset when you tell them that garage band is bigger and better than Maroon 5
"first time I ever feared for my safety, fear for my life, fear for the safety of the people backstage"
lol annoying music snobs who think their relatively obscure entertainment choices make them personally superior to everyone else have been a thing since people thought wrestling was real.
man Edge was just out here like a month ago talkin bout “why can’t we all just get along?? Tribalism is bad kids!”
He's on national TV, having a good segment thats promoting the hell out of his brand. And he can't help but do the cringe tribalism bullshit... challenger brand, Harvey, they are evil bullshit. Since AEW has cooled off all you hear from is its core fanbase talk about tribalism is bad, enjoy good wrestling, wrestling fans hate each other but the wrestlers support each other. TK sent out Edge on national TV to make that statement on Dynamite a couple weeks ago... and TK just steps all over his product and message by bashing WWE. The TV guys were having a great time, giving him rope to promote the brand and the moment he started his bullshit they wrapped up him and ended the segment. I believe that was what the tweet was frustrated about.
This is a good number for AEW. I didn't watch but the show seems to have delivered and hopefully will help turn momentum for the brand.
I don’t think anyone that’s not already watching or knows about the product will care that WWE was compared to Weinstein. How much of the general wa public was even watching that segment. Way less than Collision I venture.
Yeah it’s right around their average since they expanded their PPV schedule. Obviously not as high when they were only doing 4 or 5 but when you go to 8 it’s going to cut down on the number of people buying every PPV.
is the draft going on at the same time as the nfl's a new thing? chuckled at the draft room/nxt watch party going on, they really studied those nfl draft tapes
