Little bit of a hot head, in a good way, but one helluva player. Should bring some attitude to your WR room.
On3 - As you've seen, Labaron Philon - Link Academy - Point Guard (on3.com) has been let out of his LOI, as expected, and is visiting Tuscaloosa this weekend. As we noted Wednesday, Alabama will be heavily involved here. If I was making a prediction, it would be Alabama. In fact, at this stage, I'm not sure it gets past this weekend. But there will be a lot of people trying. Nate Oats and staff are making sure they have the lead guard situation locked up, so adding Philon would be a smart move. Very talented guy. Huge senior year. Recruiting can, and often does, change quickly, but UA is sitting in a good spot going into this visit. - Spoke to Derek Young at our Kansas State site, and he believes KSU is probably out for Clifford Omoruyi - Rutgers Scarlet Knights - Center (on3.com) after his official visit there. It sounded like a long shot at best. We are told that (as Tipson noted today and we expected) Cliff is expected in Tuscaloosa this weekend. He's also supposed to visit North Carolina, and a decision could come after. But we have another source telling us it's up in the air and no decision date has been discussed. NIL will factor in here, but UA is looking to try and wrap this up on his visit. Not saying that will happen. But that is the intention. It's too early to make any predictions here. - Still feel the same on Grant Nelson - Alabama Crimson Tide - Power Forward (on3.com). Sources close to the UA program expect him back this year. If my math is right (and it seldom is), he has until Saturday at midnight to declare for the NBA draft and would still have the option to come back to college if he wanted. Obviously, if he does not take the road Mark Sears - Alabama Crimson Tide - Point Guard (on3.com) did, then he's coming back to college. And that is expected as of this posting. - On Sears, it is the same thing as Wednesday. He's going to see what his draft grade is and would need some guarantees to leave from those near his situation, which is what we expected. That is still to be determined.
if we get everyone to gel, and the freshmen are what we think they are. The potential is insane. Truly a title contender.
i wonder if we could still see dioubate leave. just a few days left but if we land two this weekend oats might want to have a spot open if theres enticing things left in the portal when it closes.
Unreal AB by our freshman SS. Goes down 0-2, works it full then hits a two run bomb. Bama up 3-1 in the 6th.
is Kameron Howard. He entered the portal today, per his Twitter. We are told to watch Alabama as possibly being involved here. Originally from St. Frances Academy.
