Just got to watch. Holy hell yall were right about Carroll almost fucking that up. Happy for him to get 1 tho.
Just barely getting home to watch. Glad we finally got a road win against shitty competition. I wouldn't have been surprised by a draw.
Carra hoofs the ball too much but I think west brom made agger and skrtel look like a better pairing than they are
i think when fully fit agger is the best we have, the whole ´when fully fit´ thing is just a giant IF with that guy
Defender's joy at new contract 31st Oct 2011 - Latest News 33 Comments Email Print Share Jack Robinson today spoke of his joy after signing a new long-term contract at Liverpool Football Club. The left-back - who turned 18 in September - has got his reward for displaying huge promise during five first-team appearances. "I'm delighted," he told Liverpoolfc.tv. "I was going for my lunch and I saw Damien (Comolli) on my way through. He pulled me to one side and said the club wanted to offer me a new contract. "There was no doubt in my mind, I was just so excited the club were offering me a contract. "I've just got to keep working hard in training. I can't just sit back on this contract. I've got to keep improving and showing people what I'm about." Robinson, who joined Liverpool at U10 level, became the club's youngest ever player after coming on as a substitute against Hull on the final day of 2009-10. His other four appearances have been under Kenny Dalglish, including a superb display to thwart Theo Walcott at the Emirates in April. Beforehand he received some words of encouragement from his manager. Robinson explained: "I was so nervous, but before I came on Kenny had a little joke with me and kept my nerves in the bag. I was fine going onto the pitch after that. "It was a good challenge against Theo, and luckily I had a good game." Robinson faces stiff competition for a regular slot on the left side of Liverpool's defence, most notably from new signing Jose Enrique, who has impressed all with his form to date. "He's been fantastic in every game he's played," said Robinson. "I need to learn from him. He's the perfect role model because he's got everything as a left-back."
Shelvey hat trick. He his rocket left footed effort set up the first goal because the keeper couldn't handle it.
I wish that Wilson loan deal to Blackpool would go through. Also, our U-19 team is through to the KOs for the NextGen Series.
I was impressed with them, seemed like they had a few guys with solid pace. A crazy flurry at the end by Liverpool, some great saves were made.
I thought we played pretty well, but once again nobody can fucking put the ball in the net. 25 shots should result in something. Only getting 5 points from the last 9 hurts with Chelsea and City coming up, but we'll probably win those knowing how this team plays up or down to its competition.
I don't know. We got waxed by Spurs and united and arsenal were both extremely weak teams. I'm skeptical at the moment.
I just wish Kenny would make some adjustments. It's obvious Henderson should be playing centrally if he's gonna be on the field. We need to try Bellamy or Maxi on the right at some point. He keeps throwing the same shit out there expecting them to somehow get a different result.
Yep. That's why I'm worried about those next two games. We have the players to compete but I don't trust they will be setup to win.
