The Mance casting is horrible,even though he is a fantastic actor. Totally changes the feel of the character. It's not an accident that readers view him as youngish even though he is not a young character. Dude is a great actor and he'll make it work in a sense,but it is still very weird.
Always pictured Mance in in his 40s, Hinds looks closer to 60. But they've pretty much nailed the casting so far, so I have faith that it'll work out.
As to Mance... I think maybe the headshot of that actor may be a bit deceiving. I hope. He looks like a goofy, old guy. Grey Worm is a eunuch with no facial hair. Daario looks pretty much like I thought he would, except with a crazy blue beard.
I guess since the actress who plays Missandei is black and her brothers both became Unsullied it makes sense. I assume there will be some white Unsullied as well though.
Yea the Unsullied should be pretty multicultural. I also pictures Daario as more middle eastern though.
I agree with Verbal, I didn't picture Daario as a white guy. But once he goes through makeup, wardrobe, etc. he'll fit the part.
