If the offseason doesn't go well, you may look back at this season with fond memories. Yaya is definitely gone. If I were in charge I'd sell Kompany because he has been pretty bad the last two seasons.
Speaking from an opponents point of view, I'll be glad he is gone too. I'd rank him just behind Hazard as one of the players that you just hold your breath while they have the ball anywhere near the goal.
Don't ask questions you already know the answer to. He's been a dead man walking since they lost to Barca. Word is that they think they're gonna get Ancellotti.
We need to update the core and probably includes Pelli now. I'm currently infatuated with bringing Lacazette in and sending Dzeko/Jovetic out.
Lacazzete is a baller. Pairing him with Aguero would be every bit as good as Suarez and Sturridge were together last year. I bet Bony would get pretty pissed about that move because I bet he sees himself being the number 2 guy next season.
I don't think that made him a dead man walking. They weren't longshots to win the league title at that point. Now, they are. That doesn't definitively mean they'll fire him, but it seems more likely than not.
One thing I guess City needs to worry about is finishing higher than fourth. With as much business that they need to do in the offseason, some players might be hesitant to move until after they have won their Champions League playoff.
I remember there being some talks in December when they were exactly level with Chelsea that just winning the league again wouldn't be enough to keep him. That was just after they narrowly got out of their group in the CL. The sheik wants champions league success bad which is mainly the reason Pel got brought in in the first place with how far he took Malaga.
I think the sale of Yaya would get added to that and of course PSG are going to pay double what he is worth.
I want to keep Kompany I'm willing to give him some benefit - our midfield has been awful so I think he's trying to overcompensate
Between Kompany losing his powers Space Jam style, Mangala flopping, Demichelis being himself, no good fullbacks outside of Zabaleta who has also had a down year, I foresee hundreds of millions being thrown into that back line. Also, you guys need to learn to sign a proper DM (yes I get the irony that this comes from an Arsenal fan) because Fernando and Javi Garcia were shit and DM's not Fernandinho's best position.
Onda Cero: City are in negotiations with Carlo Ancelotti about taking over from Pellegrini and expect an answer in the coming weeks.
He's a lot less likely to say yes if yall are badgering him during the most important stretch of the season. Play it cool Citeh.
Ancelotti is a hell of a consolation prize, but if they don't throw everything they have at Klopp, will be really disappointed. You want to hit the next level, that's absolutely the hire you need.
