Hunger of Crota is almost as good as a gally. They aren't even going to nerf the HoC cluster bombs. Closed that gap right up
There was a post on reddit recently talking about how shitty the HOC was compared to several other rocket launchers and detailed what to get and what rolls were better. Im assuming that will change in the patch with the horseshoes and hand grenades nerf, but might be worth looking up still.
I actually read that. I think the basis of their analysis was that you only carry 6 rockets. I prefer machine guns anyway
I've got a Matador with a great roll, but can't get a Party Crasher or Ash Factory to drop in crucible, can't get a Hopscotch Pilgrim in Dragon Strikes, and my reroll game has been shit. I'm a mess
I sharded two Ash Factories. Why is that something you're looking for? It didn't seem anything special to me. I fear I'm going to chase the Hopscotch Pilgrim forever
It's a top tier pvp weapon if you can roll it with javelin, horseshoes and handgrenades, and tripod. It's almost on par with the same roll on a radegast fury.
I actually prefer using Machine Guns anyway. I seem to do more killing with 75 Jolder's rounds than I do w 4 rockets

Hopscotch Pilgrim and SpareChange.25 can be rerolled to essentially be a messenger in pvp. I got lucky and got my radagast's roll after about 3 tries. I also have an original spear with unflinching and final round that I decided not to use because i suck at sniping and people always call me a scumbag in trials when I have it equipped and it hurts my heart a little.
I have a spare change but I don't like the recoil. I just rerolled my spear so it does have Final Round. I'll be a scumbag if it gets me an extra win
I've had like 4 Spare Changes, but people say Hopscotch is better with essentially zero jump and with the right roll better than Messanger I'm not nearly a good enough sniper to snipe in trials so I usually just use a shotgun.
Just realized I have a Spare Change. It has Braced Frame (increased stability/reduced mag size) and Glass Half Full (last half of mag does additional damage). Seems like that could be a decent combo. If I ever go back to playing Crucible, I'll report back with my findings.
Braced frame will be even better after the weapons patch. Pulse rifles will have decreased stability and increased mags
i'm very available for this sort of activity. i would prefer vog so i can fail to get a fatebringer yet again and everyone can laugh. new rule: if i don't get a fatebringer everyone drinks, if i get one i have to finish 2 drinks
