There's no way to post just the video from Instagram. If you're so worried about visiting instagram at work, you probably shouldn't be on TMB at work either.
bucs listed my favorites. Cambrian Ridge is an hour south of Capitol Hill. It's another fun course. 3 nine-hole courses. Your best bet is to stay in Prattville or Opelika and travel to the other courses. Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham is supposed to be nice as well if you wanted to stay in a bigger city one night. If I were choosing, I would figure out how to incorporate both Grand National courses in my trip. Maybe Oxmoor Valley and the Judge as well.
should play 2 courses a day since most of them have multiple Capitol Hill: Judge and Legislator you could do in one day. Senator is fun too but it's an open style course and walking around in tall ass feskew in 105* heat sucks ass Cambrian Ridge (in Greenville ~hr south of montgomery. Three 9-hole courses): I'd probably go with Canyon and Loblollly. Canyon for sure. This is the best eye candy course of all the RTJs I've played. Grand National: play both. they're great Don't waste your money: Ross Bridge. Nobody I know that's played there had good things to say about it besides it was pretty scenery. Course is meh and by far the most expensive. Also Highland Oaks in Dothan is super meh
Honestly, you could argue that the best group of courses is between Prattville, Greenville, and Opelika. Any or all of those courses are as good or better than anything else on the RTJ Trail. And they're all within an hour or so drive from each other.
Figured this would be a great place to ask this.. Got a group of 20 playing a 3 day tourney this weekend. Is there an app out there where we can keep our scores and see real time what everyone else is shooting?
Golf Gamebook is one that I know you can do this. There are some others that cost money that can live update too. Some of the clubs around me use an app for their dogfights, but I don't think it's available for the public.
5 rounds in with the Cobra Fly-Z driver, the straightest damn thing I have ever hit. Not the longest I tested, but this thing hits straight bullets. Even on draw setting, it doesn't move much, if any, loving it so far.
i hate your team We're actually going to use golf Gamebook for our Ryder Cup-style tournament this weekend. It has a specific format on the website to design an event like that.
Got a call from my old boss today. He bought a new course and wants me to install and set up POS system soon so Orlando people I may have time for a round coming up
98. Steve Championship wins. Had to race a storm into the clubhouse. Felt like the PGA Championship, we were pushing the group in front of us hard to get a full round in. Swing video incoming later
Not sure the final details yet. Hoping to get it done this weekend and be able to play Sunday but that's a complete guess
what would you wear for a golf tourney that's got a Caddyshack theme? one person in the group go as: spackler, webb, czervik, and smails?
Member at my course moved back to AZ today because his kids' school is starting back up and I played with him on his last round of the year up here yesterday evening. Really good feeling seeing him go out on a high note after his last round on account of how depressed he is about moving back. He ended up buying a new putter a month or so back and when I walked into my office this AM I found this guy waiting for me. Spoiler Never going to turn down a free Scotty Cameron
You have gotten really good opinions so far. The only change I would possibly make is start out in Brimingham and then move down. I have played them all but greenville and mobile. If I was doing a four day trip I would fly into Birmingham and play oxmoore valley. I prefer the ridge to the valley course. The ross bridge track is seperate but 5 minutes away from oxmoore valley. It is going to be about 50 more for the greens fee and you don't get a whole lot more from a layout perspective. You do get a course in better shape because it gets less play and you can play it stupid long at 8100 from the tips. I would spend the night in birmingham and then drive the next morning to prattville and play the courses there. The judge is a really hard but fun track. TLAU said don't play the Senator but I would disagree. The Legislator is pretty similar to the Birmingham and Auburn courses so you get a little different type of course. Then I would head over to Auburn and play those two. Nothing against Montgomery but I would rather spend the night in Auburn and Birmingham.
yea.... i still didn't say don't play it. just that walking around in feskew sucks ass and Judge/Legislator would be my choice. You really can't go wrong with any of the 3 courses at Capitol Hill. I don't bad mouth my hometown RTJs
Playing with two customers in the morning that shoot low 80's, and I'm terrible. Thankfully, their business won't depend on my score.
