Straight to PKs or is there extra time? I'm in Spain and don't understand the commentators other when they yell player's names
That was awesome. I really hate half of Barca's roster... But Messi is delightful. Sevilla has a really good squad and should be in the battle with Valencia and Atletico for 3rd in La Liga
I don't mean to be all "SEC!" about it but La Liga is by far the most entertaining league to watch. Wish more people here in the States had access to it.
You make it anywhere else? I was only in Valencia for a weekend but thought it was pretty mehhh compared to other places
I love it. We are headed to Toledo for a day tomorrow. Valencia is great though, relatively cheap compared to other Euro cities, great beaches, good food, lots of more modern stuff along with the old.
Pretty rad. The Sephardic Museum was closed, but other than that? Pretty great. The weather was amazing and we were able to see basically the whole city in a day. I really like El Greco, so that helps.

These replies to an Ochocinco tweet about if Messi and Ronaldo would score at the same rate in the EPL are why I root for nothing but failure for English teams in Europe. Just complete utter nonsense based on absolutely nothing. https://twitter.com/ochocinco/status/635903646597804032
Don't know how many times La Liga is going to have to run a train in CL and UEFA for people to stop thinking it blows. Would love for there to be European contest between the bottom of the table squads to settle this once and for all. And this guy Rusty Rafferty @RustyRafferty 53m53 minutes ago @ochocinco by comparison? No. EPL is physical like the NFL. La Liga is physical like someone bumping into you that's late for their flight
It's weird because there's really no measuring stick for the bottom teams yet they still parade the quality of the EPL from top to bottom around as fact. The only fact I can think of is when two seasons ago Betis got relegated yet made the quarters of Europa league (and lost to a Spanish team). The higher point totals of Barca and Real are more an indication of Barca and Real >>> the top EPL teams rather than the bottom EPL teams >>> bottom La Liga teams. It's not like my blackcats would be trotting into the Bernabeu and leaving with three points.
5 in the CL Group Stages for the first time ever. Hope maybe 1 of them can overcome the intense physicality of non-Liga soccer and qualify for Europa knockouts.
According to French Prime Minister Manuel Valls France prepared to accept Barça in Ligue 1 10/27/2015 It appears that the Catalan nationalist cause has found an overseas ally. French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has opened the doors to the French League to the Catalan giants. An article in the magazine 'Challenges' said that the politician, who is a massive Barça fan, is willing to offer the Catalan club a place in France's top flight. "All things considered, Monaco play in the French League, so..." said Manuel Valls in France. In an interview in 'el Journal du Dimanche', the French Prime Minister spoke of his love for FC Barcelona. "When I was a teenager, back in August 1975, a few weeks before Franco died, I remember the amazing atmosphere there was inside the stadium. Barça's history is not only linked to football. I'm a huge football fan, a Barça fan. They're in my blood. France knows it and they ask me about it on the streets".
Real Madrid is losing to Sevilla 3-1. Rico had a huge save against Casemiro, then Llorente scores two minutes later to make it 3-1.
Tom Kundert @PortuGoal1 The Portuguese and Spanish leagues have announced a meeting to discuss the creation of an Iberian League.

Yeah I just saw this, good for him. It sucks losing him as a pundit because he is hands down my favorite in the business but I hope he does well.
