How are these new ones looking on the inside? The Tampa location has a cafeteria/food court feel to it. I was hoping they were going to stay relatively small and authentic.
I assume they all look the same. At least all the Orlando ones do. Its cafeteria style from the first shop on. The downtown one is going to be more cafe style apparently and focus on breakfast and lunch more.
Wet 'n Wild Shuttering Its Doors Volcano Bay, a new water park, will open in the Universal Orlando complex. By SHERRI LONON (Patch Staff)June 17, 2015 Fans of Orlando’s Wet ‘n Wild might want to make plans to visit one last time. Universal Orlando announced the park’s Dec. 31, 2016, closing on its blog Wednesday. The waterpark will be permanently closed on that date. Water park lovers, however, can look forward to Universal’s new Volcano Bay, “a next-generation water theme park that reimagines what it means to be a water park,” the post stated. Wet ‘n Wild opened back in 1977 and is billed by Universal as “America’s first water park.” “We’re grateful to our countless fans and team members for making Wet ‘n Wild such a special place for so very long,” spokesman Tom Schroder wrote in the post. Volcano Bay is already under construction south of Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. The new park is expected to open in 2017, according to Universal. “Volcano Bay shows how Universal Orlando is continuing to evolve at an unprecedented rate that will not slow anytime soon,” Universal’s May announcement for the new water park stated. “Since 2010, we’ve launched more than 18 remarkable experiences across the destination – from new attractions and theme park lands to new on-site hotels and restaurants. Our team will continue delivering new guest experiences that push the limits of theme park entertainment.” For more information about Wet ‘n Wild, visit its website.
Mix Whatre the hours on this thing at Crooked Can? I got there too late Saturday night. I'm also hoping some sweet young lady will be working it. You were right on their beer, it's okay, but nothing amazing. I do like hanging out in Winter Garden for a laid back night. Except for Pillar's; that place blows.
I was there till about 9 drinking beers Sat. Sunday our safe decided to fuck us and it won't open. So assuming we can get it open we are open Thurs-Sun open at noon and close around 9-10.
Just missed you, then. I think my girlfriend and I rolled in around ten. I'll try to pop by another time.
had California Grill at disney last night probably the best meal I've had in Orlando, granted you pay that 20-30% disney upcharge but jesus it is worth it
The one with the view of both the fireworks at MK and Epcot? I was there in January then, was pretty damn good
Month long fixed price menu promotion for $33 per person. Great chance to get out and try restaurants around town. It's magical.
I don't know if you can still do this, but the first week of magical dining overlaps with the generous pour at capital grille. Was able to do both for a pretty sweet deal.
The menu has some unconventional stuff, but if you are a picky eater, you can just go have the chicken, pork loin, or steak and still have a goat tier meal. The fried duck spring rolls :
Ok. Go online, book dinner for jiko one night. If you are going with just your wife, bring the kid. If you got grand parents with you, dump the kid with them. On the day you go to MK delay lunch until around 1:40. Try to walk into be our guest. If you really want to splurge, try to get a reservation at le cellier for lunch or dinner if you go to Epcot.
So I assume you have kid(s) then. The fancier places may be a tough pull but they usually have good kid menus and have all the basics. The thing with Disney though is you generally need to make dining reservations a bit in advance so Im not sure what would have availability this close to it. If you want something for more light hearted/fun and don't care for food, Sci Fi Diner at the Studios is awesome.
expert who is staying at all star sports instead of Art of Animation and doesn't know about Le Cellier. smh
What part of town you living? Looks like Siro isn't on it this year. Had an incredible meal there 2 years ago for this. Need to read through the menus and pick 2-3 to do.
