The dad just pulling out a pistol, firing it, and then the disappointment when bullets weren't included I felt like God, I don't want to be God.
I don't know if I've ever laughed harder at a segment of a TV show than when the family was being introduced. Just one hilarious line after the other. Really incredible how this show's writers are able to weave the drama and humor so seamlessly together.
Wednesday night was amazing. White trash British accents are never not funny in instances like this. But damn are they hitting the feels/serious story arc right now.
Arguably my favorite tv show currently going. Hopefully both this and Married avoid the axe. I'm so attracted to Aya Cash. She gets hotter and hotter. Shitin' Jimmy has all the luck.
Just watched the whole show so far, its hella good. I realized it today that it reminds me of Happy Endings/Shameless smash up.
Just watched last week's Yeah it's certain at this point, his dad's comments are gonna make him end up with the bartender
Jimmy is in a tough spot but if he doesn't break up with her, she'd eventually torpedo the relationship anyways.
Really doubt that it'll happen, and it came up in my head bc shows like breaking bad have ruined me, but Spoiler the gun that jimmys dad leaves better not make a reappearance in any negative way
I turned to the best friend right as Jimmy walked away and was like damn good for him. Then he turns back. I can't really blame him, she basically broke up with him when he went to the house.
One of the two will have to be pretty depressing. The fallout of all this is not going to be pretty. And I have no idea how long these depressive episodes last for an average person.
I'm actually a pretty big fan of the new chick The whole depression angle is really starting to lose me. That's literally my only problem with this season though and it's a very minor one.
Sam is up there with Thad Castle for one of the goat TV characters. SLEEPY BITCHES DONT GET NORMAL PHONES
His love of architecture is one of my favorite things. Although sad to find out Black Dwell isn't a magazine.
Ah yeah @TVbytheNumbers: ‘You’re the Worst’ renewed for Season 3 on FXX http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/12/02/youre-the-worst-renewed-for-season-3-on-fxx
Same. Not only new phone, who dis? but that things feel like they could get back to somewhat normal to end the season and go into three.
yeah that ending had me on the ropes this legit might be my favorite show atm, never been so invested in a TV couple succeeding before
Days after he inked an overall deal with FX Networks and FX Productions, FX is developing two new comedies with “You’re the Worst” creator Stephen Falk, Variety has confirmed. Falk will serve as an exec producer on both development projects. Falk will also serve as co-writer on the first potential series, an untitled semi-autobiographical comedy from “You’re the Worst” writer Alison Bennett, who will also write and exec produce. The project revolves around a character named Ali, an unrelenting dissatisfied television scribe who returns to her rual Pennsylvania hometown to live the simple life. The second project, “Join Me,” is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Danny Wallace. “You’re the Worst” writers Franklin Hardy and Shane Kosakowski will pen the script. The pair will also exec produce with Falk, plus Wallace and Tom Lassally of 3 Arts.
That was a perfect end to the season. They took a big chance with Gretchen's storyline this year but they pulled it off and it was a great way to progress her relationship with Jimmy.
I love the fact they didn't take the easy way out with breaking them up. Both characters acted in ways that make sense for the way they have been portrayed throughout the series. Also, the entire scene between Gretchen and the bar owner bronze medalist girl had me rolling.
Wasn't my favorite episode til the end. They just nail those emotional bits. The season was an A easily.
The callback to Lindsay's line last season "If I’m on a motorcycle, I’m driving the motorcycle, not riding in that shitty little side motorcycle thingy for poor people and dogs." made me so happy. One of my favorite lines on the show.
