I would give anything for one in Ohio. I'd find a reason to go to Cincinnati so I could get one for lunch
I'm a little biased because I think Wegmans chicken fingers are the absolute worst. I also shop at the original Wegmans store which is the flagship store and is absolutely ridiculous and realize none of the other ones are even remotely as nice as that one.
The one in State College is probably the nicest grocery store I've ever been to. That or the Giant Eagle Market District outside Pittsburgh.
Ordered online and didn't toss the chicken in buffalo sauce and didn't add ranch on the bread...I was so angry I ate the whole sandwich instead of saving half for later.
Went today, last day for the sale down here. Ordered online. Ordered blue cheese. I ask every time I'm there and they say no, and I've ordered it online before to and not gotten it. But today I got it. First time ever. And I picked Provolone because they normally don't do it, so I got both. Extra blessed. Buffalo tenders, blue cheese, provolone, pickles, onion, tomatoes, and jalapeno. 9 grain bread. So good.
Ordered it on the 5 grain with white american, spinach, tomato, parmesan and garlic and a drizzle of ranch. So good!
Multigrain, plain tenders, chipotle Gouda, mayo/yellow mustard, lettuce, jalapeños, banana peppers, buffalo sauce on top to not get my chicken soggy. That was last night.
anyone else have their publix doing an NFL-themed sub? Atlanta Falcons Hot Sub Hot Sweet Maple Flavored Tenders, Bacon, Peach Preserves, Sriracha Mayonnaise
nothing gets past you they should have put actual fried Falcon breast in it, to make it seem genuine.
Just stopped in for lunch. The Mojo Pork sub is on sale. Not sure how long that will last but sales usually start Wednesday or Thursday down here. First time I've had it, literally took one bite and had to post. This shit is delicious. I also found out that there is another boar's head mayo they keep behind the counter aside the chipotle. I think it's just "gormaise" or w/e, but it's mayo with peppercorns. Didn't get it, but will definitely try next time.
New special every Thursday. What did you get on it? I went yesterday and got the 3 piece tender meal for 4.99. Three tenders and 2 sides.
I stand by my belief that the mojo pork, topped with pepper jack cheese, onions, peppers, jalapeños and toasted, is God-tier Pub Subbing.
FYI, you can take any condiment, within reason, in the store over to the counter and they will open it and use it.
Favor does delivery of Pub Subs and other publix items if you're lazy fyi still waiting for Postmates to get on that
You southerners take these for granted but up here where the closest Publix is 700 miles away, you really appreciate a good Chicken Tender sub when you can get it.
That is absurd. They are delicious. I had one last year to see what the hype was. When I was in Orlando in May I took an uber to Publix and bought 2 so I could save one for later
Why? Having been to Publix many times, I can say with authority that Giant Eagle Market District is better... including the sub shop.
