I enjoyed 24/7, for sure. Face Off was the typical face off. Greatest Hits in case we have any casuals come in the thread.

Tonight at 9 pm EST on HBO PPV, Miguel Cotto headlines against Canelo Alvarez at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the main event of a four-fight card. Cotto (40-4, 33 KO) and Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KO) are expected in the ring somewhere between 11 pm and Midnight EST. Before that, the run order will be Jayson Velez vs Ronny Rios in a 10-round featherweight bout; Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Drian Francisco in a 10-round super bantamweight bout; and Takashi Miura vs Francisco Vargas in a 12-round bout for Miura's WBC super featherweight title. Takashi Miura vs Francisco Vargas. The names in this junior lightweight co-feature probably won’t get casual fans excited, but that’s OK — the fight might. Miura (29-2-2, 22 KO) is an aggressive Japanese southpaw, while the long-limbed Vargas (22-0-1, 16 KO) is no stranger to throwing down himself. Both men can take a punch, too. That said, I lean towards Vargas by decision — he’s a little bit bigger and a little bit tighter, technically. Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Drian Francisco. Top junior featherweight Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KO) finally puts an end to a long period of disappointing inactivity by signing with Roc Nation and fighting Filipino Francisco (28-3-1, 22 KO). It’s not really a competitive fight, but I guess the hope is that Rigondeaux will decide to look spectacular against a guy who’s not much of threat.
Still haven't decided on a pick. Love Cotto, but all the facts point toward Canelo. Either way, should be a good one.
Not sure if it's because it's late and I'm old or if the Rigondeaux almost put me to sleep but I'm struggling to make it to the main event.
Just ordered. Heart says Cotto, brain says Canelo. Crazy that canelo is a 3:1 favorite though. I mean, yeah he should probably win, but 3:1? That seems heavy to me.
i have it on mute anyway edit: I opened a shit feed with good audio then paused the excellent feed to sync up the audio. works great
I think Cotto is going to win..... ... Canelo may not want to walk through Cotto's jab. Mayweather undid him with that punch alone... I'm hopeful that Cotto can do the same, although, he's obviously a much less skilled boxer.
I'm just struggling to figure out how good Cotto is at this point. I know there's been all this talk of his "rejuvenation" under Freddie Roach, but is it really that or just good matchmaking? Beat Delvin Rodriguez, Geale and a shot Sergio Martinez.
Pretty good VLC and website links. Britsh broadcast. https://streamup.global.ssl.fastly.net/app/mikegays-stream/chunklist.m3u8 http://freecast.in/boxn.html
Geale is a good fighter and no one was really calling Martinez shot until after Cotto worked him. I mean, it's not like canelo has defeated any world beaters. Granted though, eyeball test says Canelo is superior at this point.
I agree with this whole post, which is why I hesitate in picking Cotto.... There were big concerns over Martinez entering that fight actually.... And, anyone that saw him in the first round against Cotto knew he was shot. His legs weren't there- not even a little bit.
True, although like was said above, we all know what a great Martinez looks like, and we quickly saw his legs wouldn't let him be that. Yeah, Canelo hasn't beaten world beaters for sure, but Trout, Lara, Angulo and Kirkland >>> Geale, D-Rod and Maravilla. Either way, tonight we find out if Cotto's rejuventation is for real, and we find out if Canelo can be the next big time star, or just a very good fighter with a big following.
