Meh overall. Hazard was lively again, we did well against Kane but others created some dangerous chances. I'll take a draw but 3 would have been huge today. Diego's tantrum is going to be annoying.
Defenders did well and Hazard and Willian ran their asses off but usual lack of cutting edge. Costa threw a fit on the bench after pretending to warm up, which will be all anyone talks about this week. Fabregas is fucking useless.
Application to demolish Stamford Bridge and rebuild a new 60k seat stadium has been submitted to the local council.
Eeesh, you are right NineteenNine . That shit is hideous if in fact the real design, coming from a huge white line enthusiast. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...turn-Stamford-Bridge-60-000-seat-stadium.html
I don't mind the design if it were just for the roof section but the entire facade looking like that is a bit too much for my taste.
I'm surprised you didn't go with 61,001 capacity just to one up our capacity. There is still plenty of time for that I suppose.
At the moment catching Crystal Palace and West Ham should be your main concern, as the lowest ranking London team in the table. The way Jose set the team up this past weekend suggests otherwise though.
Lebron Troll Smiley was too subtle I guess. Pavlyuchenko was amazing. Score a goal and have a cig in the locker room at half time.
The stadium looks like shit from the aerial view but I'm a huge fan from the ground. Makes me like the aerial view more after seeing the ground-level renderings.
Had only saw the overhead views, didn't realize the columns were made of brick. Some of the shots from the ground are cool looking for sure, people will either really like it or really hate it. No in between. 3 years away from Stamford Bridge will be a long time, Abramovich will probably buy Wembley.
so Chelsea advance second with a draw tomorrow and Porto are out. Chelsea are out with a loss. Chelsea are through first with a win. Should be interesting but I'd be lying if I said I expected anything but Europa after tomorrow.
dropping to the Europa and trying to win that might be our best chance at champions league next year...
I thought the same thing but playing on Thursday nights with our current league form might get us relegated at this point
If terry leaves this year who do you see as the next captain of Chelsea? A scary thought but I don't see a captain on this team. Ivanovic would be the obvious choice but he shouldn't even be playing right now and is probably more likely to leave than terry this summer. Cesc has been a captain before but he has been awful this year and would we want to make a former Arsenal captain our first captain in almost 15 years? Maybe Cahill? He is British, has been on the team for awhile and just got a new contract but if we sign stones I am not sure Cahill starts over stones/zouma Will be interesting to say the least but my thought is mourinho tries to get stones this summer, bring back terry to groom stones and then make stones captain the following year. Just my theory
http://as.com/diarioas/2015/12/09/english/1449674792_443428.html Interesting article on griezmann. Shows why he is the perfect fit for a mourinho team Also shows in my opinion why he would be perfect in our 4-2-3-1 as a #10 or in a revamped 4-3-3 as a right wing in addition to his ability as a striker
Courtois Ivanovic Zouma Terry Azpi Matic Ramires Willian Oscar Hazard Costa Not surprised that he dropped cesc for Ramires. Pretty surprised Oscar starts though. Oscar seems VERY off as of late but maybe he does better with Ramires instead of the ultimate liability cesc in the pivot which will allow him to attack
Beautiful goal from Costa! Not really at all! But still a goal from Costa! Edit: Looks to be credit as an own goal. But he did kick it to start with!
