What component do I need to upgrade to decrease my load times? I've ordered a new graphic card and will be moving my OS to SSD, did I miss anything?
building my pc tonight, and the only thing i'll be missing is the gpu, since i'm waiting for that to come in. are the system requirements on dota low enough that i can use my motherboard's integrated graphics? (msi with a z97 chipset) tia
Probably yes. Theres a ton of extra configs available to make it run better if you need to go to extra low settings
Wyvern is fucking bonkers. Glimmer cape to literally turn people invincible 1000 range skadi with flying movement Splinter blast makes pushing into wyvern a fucking nightmare Ult is good black hole
yeah she needs to be toned down. my preference would be to drastically cut the damage on splinter blast and increase the slow duration. cut out her farming ability, leave the utility.
Tell me what I'm doing wrong, when jungling with Ursa or doom I'm under leveled to teammates 100% of the time halp
There's very few heroes that are good at jungling. You almost never want to jungle in pubs unless you have a hard support focusing on stacking creeps for you. (i.e. never) Maybe take a few out on your way if you're running back to base, but that's it.
I blame the roster change. I think it's tough finding the farm that Sumail and Arteezy both want, and trying to find the right balance is taking some time. Arteezy and Fear play that spot really differently from each other.
it was stupid to get 2 mids and put them on the same team and even stupider to put arteezy mid over sumail in some matches sumail is far and away the better mid player, but when they put him at the 1 slot and let arteezy mid, it seems they always lose
I'm getting pretty frustrated. I really felt I was improving, reaching 2,800. I thought I was getting close to being a 3k player. Seem to be stuck around 2,500 now, just sad realizing I'm not as good as I thought I was.
Nah Arteezy is very much a safe lane carry. He just happens to be the world's best shadow friend too. He was pretty exclusively the 1 on Secret.
Playing heroes for the first time is really frustrating. Randomed Dragon Knight and he's fucking slow and worthless and I'm horrible.
I think EG is going to have to pick a mid and roll with it, though neither sumail or arteezy would probably take it well. Tough to have much synergy when two guys are rotating positions most games, and compounded even more so when you already had a guy adjusting to a new position.
It's getting ridiculous with EG losing game 1 and winning the next two. Has to have gone that way like 9 of their last 10 wins.
Anyone play WD? Do you level the Stun, heal, or AOE malediction? Last night I was trying for a support build with Max heal but apparently from interwebs builds that's dumb.
#facts I went from 3600 to 2200 by simply not taking a break or having a smurf account to play on when the meta turned to shit.
3-2-0-1 is what I typically build towards to dominate lane. Cask is one of the best stuns in he game, and Landon it with a good maledict usually guarantees a kill. I typically skip voodoo restoration until mid/late game. Edit - wrong skill order
I usually go Q>W>Q>W>Q>R>Q then prioritize R>E>W. You'll see a lot of pros run him in a heavy mid game push comp completely skipping E because stats and heals are really strong in that push timing, but that probably won't work with pubs.
In pubs skip the heal entirely Pros skip maledict because they typically max the heal after stun to sustain pushes
Sounds fun to play as WD with Bloodstone, I guess that plus max Heal turns you into a walking fountain of sorts. Not optimal obviously but sounds fun.
Good idea. Great positioning will help you more than the heal will. Assuming you got the maledict off, you'll be able to heal up afterwards as they die off. I feel the mana is more effective when put into casks and maledicts.
Glimmer cape is better at our level. You'll see some pub stompers build a shadow blade but glimmer is a much better team item.
