I made some really dumb decisions when I first got Twitter at the end of college. Thank goodness it was before social justice warriors ruined people's lives over a tweet but I am still not proud of it
I know so much less about other sports and teams than Alabama and the Braves basically now. I follow them and have all the info on them but not watching sportscenter causes me to not know near as much about what else is going on
If I want to watch highlights from particular games I just go to espn.com but even that sucks because you're watching a 30 second commercial before every video, even ones that are like a 20 second clip of a sweet dunk
It's also about the convenience of turning it on my TV while I'm walking around the house in the morning and the kids being able to watch it while they're eating breakfast. I'm not opening up my laptop while I'm getting dressed or making my coffee. I mean they even took away ESPNews while keeping the fucking channel. It's like they saw everyone making fun of MTV for not playing music videos and thought, we can beat that.
Agree. I'm not rifling through my phone searching for diff highlights or on my laptop. That's not convenient when you're doing shit in the morning.
not to mention when you try to load a highlight on ESPN.com they play a 30 second commercial before each clip.
so they have a smart bracket thing on their tournament challenge that uses bpi to select games for you i clicked the link twice and got uva in the title game on the first attempt and cincy as champion on the second attempt more like dumb bracket lmbo
My smart bracket had Arkansas beating UNC, a Gonzaga/St. Mary's rematch in the Elite Eight, and Louisville winning the championship. So basically a dumb bracket.
yes, when they do the little joke openings where Wilbon brings up a news story about a criminal or something, and Tony acts like he was the person in the story. Wilbon mentioned some large amount of eye shadow was stolen from a store or something, and then the cameras cut to Tony wearing some and a joke about the story.
That was actually a well written and well acted show. NFL thought it made them look bad so they made the network drop it.
I was flipping through and saw that live. Being half awake at 1:00 AM I couldn't stop laughing. Then they said the answer was Duke and the laughter just continued. Also Jay Williams just goes "Oh that looks bad!" and started laughing before erasing.
Celtics is my team, but I support the NBA teams that are heavy on former Kentucky players. PHX = Bledsoe, Booker, Ulis, Knight. Pelicans = Davis and Boogie.
