That's assuming Kronke cares enough to get rid of him. His track record of turning franchises into shit can't be overlooked.
He needs to believe CDM is a real position and not just something you plug with a free, Championship player, converted aging CAM, or defender with dreads. Which he won't, other than that, only thing that can mask his issues is a world class striker/forward who is a prolific finisher. They would need to stay healthy as well, which luckily, we are good at.
Can't wait for this season to end. I miss being able to look forward to watching Arsenal play every weekend.
Piers is like the Swim of Arsenal fans. Another bad season of AU football may have you coming around there too.
Rainey knows he's not needed right now, he only pops up when things are somewhat bad to make it worse.
Glad we got a lecture on team spirit and they players gold scolded for selfies. Great color commentary and insight.
Wow, listless. Playing the string out. Going to be great when Legia Warsaw or some shit knock us out of UCL qualifying round
A player who can dribble through tightly bunched defenders may be our only chance. We don't seem to have any other ideas.
@orbinho: Fourth time in last nine home Premier League games Arsenal haven't managed a single shot on target in the first half.
Gotta have the highest cumulative jersey numbers on the pitch at once in the PL. 33, 34, 35, 24, 23, 18...
Wouldn't surprise me if wenger and Giroud were having a fling. Really the only explanation at this point.
Yeah, we have no hope of that. Can only hope that we get some average striker to rotate with Welbeck. Bigger problem is just that Wenger completely lost this team and not sure he gets it back this summer. Alexis tracks back as much as Cristiano these days and Iwobi isn't much better. Pretty shit job being an Arsenal fullback right now and neither are in great form either. There's no space in attack with Giroud out there and so much space on the other end.
Everyone knows we're not buying a top class striker this summer. I know we tried this once for about three games & it didn't work - but I would try it again: play Alexis up top. He's not much of a "target man" but he can run the channels, get in behind & at least puts shots on target. He's a terrible passer & as mentioned has quit tracking back so maybe it will somewhat hide those deficiencies. With Reus - Ozil - Ramsey supporting him it just might work. He's not Suarez, Aguero or Higuain but he's the closest thing we have to a player in that mold.
Think Alexis wants the ball too much and holds onto it too long to be a striker. Also seems incredibly stubborn and don't see him changing his game. He's been pretty good on the right for the most part(not yesterday). Just end this damn season and I can delude myself into thinking that next year can be different.
