they didn't kill bad guys in season 2 and it was the best season. But they'll probably end up killing DD like they did RAG and these seasons have been horrible.
there's so many things that have been mishandled on this show (and it was cheesy/whatever even before that), I don't know how they fix it. my first suggestion would be to nix these god damn flashbacks. i zone out every time they flashback (i couldn't, for the life of me, tell you the name of oliver's female companion in the flashbacks) and they've added nothing in 2 years. i'm sure they won't, but they need to keep felicity and oliver apart as well. or maybe i'm misrembering and they need to get them together so as to avoid felicity being annoying as fuck. either way, they were both incredibly annoying this year and that needs to be fixed. one nice thing is i think, if necessary, i can get by with just watching The Flash. The crossover episodes have consistently been the best Arrow eps the last 2 years, and they've been standalone stories for the most part. so if they can't get this right, i'll drop back to one night of CW a week for the majority of the year.
I agree on the flashbacks, flashbacks the first two years were more about explaining Oliver's time on the island and how he became a badass and the background between him and Slade so worked well with the story. However these deja vu flashbacks to everything that's happening in present day Star City being something Oliver already went through 5 years prior is just stupid. Can we just encounter a problem Oliver hasn't already dealt with already. Also it will be nice if they finally pick a path for Oliver and stop the flipping back and forth either he's a monster or he's a bastion of good. No need for these long drawn out struggles were he can't concur the seasons bad guy because he's not monster enough. And it's not just him it's the entire team Arrow crew.
They should have killed Felicity too Getting tired of her sideshow character. It's The Arrow, not The Arrow and Felicity.
Glad they didn't end with a huge cliff hanger or anything. They can basically go anywhere next season from here.
I was hoping it would end with Flashpooint erasing everything so this last season never happened... Let Ollie's dad be the Thomas Wayne and move all the series along that way.
Next season they are back to square 1. I'm sure it will start with some fun times between being a mayor and handling crime by himself and felicity. The new baddie will come and be Oliver's equal. The team will come back and dominate then not dominate then dominate again.
Why would they just create a new villain? Just go by the comics, fuck. You almost have the damn script written for you already.
Because the show is fucking stupid these days. After this year's season finale I removed it from my DVR schedule
Prometheus! I hope they go real dark with it....they won't, but I think they will. My prediction, Spoiler maim's Roy and kills Thea then Ollie kills Prometheus.
Showrunners confirmed in the panel Flashpoint will have an impact on Arrow at the beginning of the season.
Thinking arrow is a good season this year. But it's also just the foundation that made everything else better
Since I didn't watch the finale last season what happened to team arrow. Where is Diggle and why isn't Thea speedy anymore?
Talia al Ghul Joins Arrow as New Recurring Character http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/11/02/talia-al-ghul-joins-arrow-as-new-recurring-character
season has been good so far hopefully they really are putting an end to Oliver and Felicity because show works much better without there relationship bs ever week
I stopped watching after last year's awful season, particularly the ending. Should I catch up with the current season?
i was one bad ep from giving up. i think they've really turned it around. it's still got issues, but its so improved from the last couple years its not even funny.
That would be a possibility, especially since they announced Talia will be a character. Bring back the lazarus pit.
I could see them doing Arrow's version of the Under the Red Hood storyline in Batman. Maybe Talia is in love with Ollie from sometime they met during his missing five years and attempted to resurrect Tommy to please Ollie, but the Tommy who came back wasn't the same as the one who died. Similar to the changes in Thea and Sara after they were resurrected in the Lazarus Pit. Especially since Tommy was in love with Laurel and she'd still be alive if Ollie hadn't come back as the Green Arrow.
Yeah, it's Tommy. http://tvline.com/2016/11/09/arrow-spoilers-season-5-prometheus-oliver-connection/ “We begin to explore why Prometheus is doing what he’s doing,” Stephen Amell shared during TVLine’s visit to the series’ set in Vancouver. To that end, “We actually have to go back in our story, which is interesting and something that I’m very proud that we’re doing in a fifth season. We’re calling back to a lot of familiar parts of our early days in the show.” As the team attempts to make sense of Prometheus’ actions, Felicity and Curtis learn that his victims have a mysterious tie to Green Arrow’s past. In fact, “he and Oliver have a lot in common,” co-star David Ramsey teases. “He’s the guy you can count on to cut straight to the chase,” Ramsey describes. “Oliver’s the one that kind of struggles with, ‘Oh, well, maybe this. Maybe that.’ Diggle’s always the one that’s like, ‘Listen, he’s a criminal. We need to take him out. Don’t necessarily kill him, but he needs to go.’ … So his reaction to Prometheus is the same as it was with [Damien] Darhk, the same as it was with all our other villains: He needs to be taken out, that simple.”
