Battlefield 1?

Question for those who have played bf 1... aesthetics aside, how does the gameplay compare to hardline? I could never get into hardline. Is bf 1 just a different skin on the same engine?

 

Same engine as BF4 and hardline. Hardline was garbage, don't use it as a benchmark for anything.

 

It's plays pretty amazingly imo. Operations mode is fun. Aiming feels good, much better than star wars. Haven't played 4 in a long time and hated hardline so can't speak to those.

 

Won a few last night somehow, really cool battles. The level with the giant zeppelin floating above the points raining down hell was pretty great. Glad they picked up the only good thing from star wars for this game

lol i am so very terrible at this game, but its awesome.
Played about 90 minutes of MP, 5 kills and probably 20 deaths.

True to my past history, I like sniping the best.

Medic. Mondragon storm. First gun in the medic kit is garbage, really like the second though

 

I would recommend the campaign to anyone unfamiliar with battlefield before jumping into online. You'll have a more pleasant experience.

If you get enough puzzle pieces you unlock a legendary skin. Being that is all you get from battlepacks, I wouldn't scrap unless you get duplicates

The one thing pissing me off is that I can't join a fucking operations match. It loads, then kicks me back to the selection screen.

 

Thoughts on which gun to unlock for mid range combat? I like something scoped. I assume medic is the ticket since assault is smgs and shotguns?

 

Medic is pretty damn good. I use the montdragon optical. There's a version with a sniper scope too

i cant get an operations game to work....server disconnected every time

 

Try restarting your system. I had this issue earlier

 

Psn was having some issues for me earlier

 

I keep getting randomly disconnected from servers or just having terrible lag

 

Have no idea what operations is because it never works for me

 

what's the TMB consensus on this one? worth picking up? thoughts?

 

its pretty sweet...new game modes like rush make the battlefield smaller so theres more action. im still trying to figure out the whole getting new guns/ attachments thing

 

You buy new guns with warbonds as you level up classes. No scopes etc as attachments to buy.
