Went to the game to see LoCain and he didn't disappoint. That catch he made on Soler's liner was vintage Cain. I saw that Joel Goldberg wasn't terribly pleased on the post-game show about the fans cheering after Cain's HR. Who cares? This team is dogshit. They're playing for nothing so fans should cheer for whoever they want to cheer.
Going on a party bus for a friends bday to the game tomorrow, and just got my boss’ tickets to tonight’s game. Excited to experience the tanking process up close and personal over the next 36 hours.
Omg, do you even care about winning games!?!? It’s obvious that hitting pop ups to shallow center field will wear out opposing outfielders legs. So even if we are 30 games back at the trade deadline we better be buyers because we’ll be ready to make a RUN!!!
We shouldn’t be slugging, you guys. Homers are known rally killers. Plus, this: https://www.foxsports.com/other/sto...d-for-swinging-for-the-fences-052913?amp=true
Been telling Yost all year if they scored 10 in the first they’d win more games, about time that MORAN listened to me.
Actually surprised no one in history has given up for home runs in any inning without recording an out. Making it an even bigger mockery is that the Royals did it to someone.
Gordo's only 39 ticks behind Betts for the AL BA title. Oh and I guess a bunch of at-bats so he can be eligible.
ownership going the moviepass route. $29.99/mo for all the games you want. standing room only, craft/draft, and fountain bar. go to two games a month and everything else would be gravy. https://www.mlb.com/royals/tickets/specials/fountain-bar-fan-pass
If I didn't have a child or wife I'd be all about that. I could get that package and lose both of them I suppose....
On the surface he appears to be a high-upside prospect who is putting it together. Only 19 with great raw power. With the way he's tearing up A-ball (11 HR in 29 games, 1.002 OPS), a promotion to High-A seems imminent. Between Matias, Lee, and Pratto, it appears that our system does actually have a few guys who can play. I really want to see Staumont up with the big league club soon. He's ready and would likely be our 2nd best reliever at this point. His stat line is pretty funny and it's clear he's going to walk a lot of hitters. 16.1 IP, 16 BB, 31 K, .155 BAA, 1.10 ERA, 1.53 WHIP (lol).
He's not quite there but he's on this way, .246 as of this morning. It's almost the end of May and we have the worst record in baseball and are tied with Miami for worst differential at -90. We are bottom-5 in runs scored and dead last in runs allowed. Let the fire sale begin. We should be fielding all calls regarding Moose, Whit, Herrera, Soler, and even Salvy (although I don't see our FO trading him). I would say Duffy too but at this point all we could get in a return is a Whopper or two.
