Was really great. No issue with the decision. Question for the thread, I havent been paying attention to much of the UFC anymore. Why is there an interim Heavyweight title fight? Didn't Ngannou just win the belt like 4 months ago?
I think that’s just it, he has to have specialized judges. 99 out of 100 lay people would see these decisions. It’s that bad.
That decision makes no sense Should have been a draw at the worst for phillips First round was absolutely a 10-8
UFC just being dumb and Toyota Center was adamant that Lewis fight for a belt in his hometown. Ngannou would’ve been ready in September also. And nobody will recognize this interim champ.
guy is tough as shit but he was completely out of it at the end of the first for the final like 15 seconds and the ref just let it go till the end of the round and hoped he didn’t die.
Big fight feel here. Winner should fight Yan for the interim. Sterling holding up the title is silly.
Listened to an interview today and he made excuses on why Sandhagen, Dillashaw, and Yan didn't deserve a title shot. For a title he certainly didn't win. GTFOH.
i had Sandhagen. TJ did nothing with those positions and the only damage he did was some leg kicks, which didn't really do much to slow down Sandhagen.
I always find it funny when the guy with the beat up face wins over the guy who looks the same as he entered the octagon
yea maybe he needs to adjust based on how judges score fights. not sure many people would come out of that fight thinking TJ is the better fighter though. for whatever that’s worth.
I think TJ won a razor thin decision. Pressed the entire time. The cut was preexisting that happened to open up. That's like judging Nate Diaz on the damage he wears. But the best part is we're done by 10 o'clock.
Annoying to list to DC talk about TJ deserving to get credit for getting him into the clinch and holding position. Okay, but what about Sandhagen defending 14 out of 16 takedown attempts?
I cleared some cash on Dilashank but again, the refs tonight were a compromised bunch. Just atrocious.
Sandhagen needs to stop throwing spinning strikes if its getting him taken down and not coast so much. He still needs to work on fight iq. Dillashaw just won bc toughness & grit. Wasn't the better fighter though.
Torn Judging was atrocious but I was on the right side of 2/3 sus decisions. Had Gall +165 Imavov +135 Barber +125 Elkins +142 Dillashaw +172 and parlayed Arce/Phillips/SF Giants.
