with all the snobby items posted in this thread, surprised we’re drawing the line at expensive underwear.
There’s a thread for shitting your pants. Some things just need to be expendable and reasonably priced.
I bought these a few years ago and made the mistake of getting the large. They run small and I never wear them. Needed to he XL.
I wear UA and their sizes differ between the different styles. I’ll get some that fit and some that are much tighter in the waist in the same sizes.
I got this LG soundbar to go with my LG C1 OLED TV. It’s the 2021 model (same as the TV) but this felt like a really good price. It’s got just about everything you would want, including Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, Apple Airplay, etc. and sounds awesome. Plus it comes with a wireless sub. Unless you are a true audiophile or want true surround, it’s damn good. I watched Top Gun: Maverick earlier and it felt like I was in the movie theater. The only thing it doesn’t have is 5 channels in the soundbar, but since channels 4 and 5 are the left and right rear, I don’t see those being super important in a soundbar anyway. You can always add wireless rear speakers if you want 5 channel surround. I haven’t really seen anything else of this quality at this price point I don’t think. LG SP8YA Sound Bar w/Subwoofer, 3.1.2ch, 440W Power, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Meridian Audio, High Res Audio (24 bit / 96 kHz), Dolby Vision & HDR10, Alexa, Apple Airplay 2, 2021 https://a.co/d/hrmfesK
Any recs on a microwave? Consumer reports appreciated. Never had to purchase one before but ours just bit the dust.
My brother is a chef and uses those knives. He got me one for my birthday. It’s the sharpest knife I’ve ever had. Sliced my finger open while washing it after my first time using it. Im way more cautious with it now.
This thing has made me like microwaves and I used to hate them. It just works. https://www.whirlpool.com/kitchen/c...os8TEBkOfeBMgNZAxHgaAreREALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Not necessarily the microwave, but misuse of it. They’re fine for some things but there are better ways to do most stuff people use them for. This one with it’s sensing etc. Is actually a useful tool in the kitchen for more than just heating up leftovers.
i love the microwave - best way to toast dried chilies and doubles as a proving drawer when not in use
Had a coworker that didnt own one. No idea how its possible to live in 2022 and not own a microwave. Do you just have all this free time to cook everyday or do you just reheat shit on the stove (with also your shit ton of free time)?
