I’d love a redo on life possessions assuming my family and dogs were safe. I have so much shit that’s just shit. I don’t know how to get rid stuff in an environmentally responsible way that doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars to recycle it. I fully understand a tornado does not solve my problems, it’s my random silver-lining thought.
I imagine it’s a bit of a split. Families with kids might be more inclined to more to a new home. A couple might have more patience to build. My only data point is a coworker who lost their home to a fire. Her and her husband lived in an apartment for a year to rebuild where their prior home was.
I’m having flashbacks to all the screens thrown at receivers’ feet or RBs being hung out to dry with a ball 3 feet over their heads. Dylan looked sooooo smooth in those RPOs and hit the receiver in a perfect spot to do something after they caught it. I would like to know if he looked so smooth on the RPO because it was a called pass or if he truly made a read that quickly.
I couldn't tell if the OL was actually good or if it's been so bad recently that doing the basics made me think they were good
I think one of the most notable things I noticed yesterday was Haarberg and his reads. He was decisive, and if 1 wasn’t open you can see him get to 2 and 3 on several occasions. I was impressed by his improvement and I shit on him regularly.
huskerrolly how we sitting on the recruiting sites? Seems like most absolutely loved it, but I am thinking guys like Terry, Choice, Branch, etc want to see us this fall. I really like our chances with Merritt from reading some articles, but Bama is Bama with or w/o Saban atm.
Not totally sure, I tend to stay away from the articles this early on, they’re mostly just fluff pieces. The sites are differing on Merritt, 24/7 days it’s bama, Munson says he likes where Nebraska sits so who knows. I’d be surprised if Lateef isn’t N soon.
Finally got around to watching a condensed version of the spring game. If you’re a WR how could you not want to come play with DR? Also special teams is weird. Feels like Alvano is going to be streaky his whole career.
Sounded like he had a good spring too and a solid culture guy. Maybe a case of younger dudes being in line for reps and he wants more PT for his last year?
he also said that Chief was the most improved player on the team this spring, and was singing his praises. That sucks
Isn’t there a rule that once they’re on scholarship they can’t move to NIL/walkon status? I thought there was something that made it harder manipulate scholarship numbers.
I mean that they probably were never what’s allowed because they were putting incoming players on NIL scholarships.
Man, Dirt, I'm with ya pal, fr*ck. Ate a fuckload of BBQ and got hammered at Pinkskirt's Barnskrt last weekend and my guts been all twisted up since. Figure we're due for some 'mits or for Thom to DIE with all this gastro distress
Sat next to Coach Foley at Zach Bryan last night. Did not bug him about football but wanted to ask him what the hell his plan is to fix our kicker.
