Granted, Marshall Henderson is really good, (And lit us up) but goddamn is there something extremely unlikeable about him.
4 colleges in 4 years felony drug charge not nearly as good as he thinks he is nogs harder than anyone in cbb he didn't light us up (11 pts on 11 shots) but it seems like he did because he celebrates every shot like its a game winner
Refs called so many ticky tack fouls tonight in the Tennessee-Ole Miss game. Hope student sections start getting personal with that douche Henderson.
I wasn't disagreeing with your whole post; only disagree with the fact that you don't think he's that good. He's tops in ppg in the entire league right now (though he does make questionable shot selections at times). Granted, he can act like a child on the court, but he's helping make OM basketball relevant again.
I didn't say he isn't good. He's avg. ~19 a game which is impressive even against bad competition. But he's shooting less than 40% and acts like he thinks he's an nba all-star when he might not even be the best player on ole miss. Thus he's not as good as he thinks he is
He's pretty fucking good, but I agree he isn't the best player on his team. As long as you let him use his left hand, Murphy Holloway is deserving of SEC POY. Now, when he attempts to use his right, he's liable to throw it into the stands. I do think that Henderson gets a bad wrap, though. He plays hard as shit on both sides of the court. He's not very talented defensively, but he's got a motor. Since he's on my team, I love that he's got all the typical white guy stereotypes (coach's son, motor, work ethic, etc.), but he also thugs so hard the black players have to hold him back.
Marshall Henderson, Ole Miss G, leading scorer in the SEC. We've been talking about how big of a fag/mexinog he is
Picks for Saturday: Arkansas (-4) @Scar Alabama @ Tennessee (-3) LSU @ Kentucky(-17) Vandy @ Mizzou (-14) Georgia @ aTm (-8) Florida (-19) @ Miss St Ole Miss (-6) @ Auburn Arkansas to win & cover Bama to win and cover Kentucky to win, but NOT cover Mizzou to win, but NOT cover aTm to win AND cover Florida to win AND cover Ole Miss to win AND cover
I fucking hate this team. Jump out to a 15-3 run on the road at South Carolina. Then just stop playing. There is no leadership or toughness on this team. Ill be so glad when BJ leaves. South Carolina on a 32-4 run right now.
What has changed your tune on BJ? You were so high on him pre season Also, as you guys will soon find out. Frank Martin is a hell of a coach. He doent have the most talent (or any talent really) but he has an uncanny ability to make his teams play hard every play. If you go into (the other) columbia taking them lightly, they will take it to you
Changed his shot. He is shooting like 20% from three compared to 45% or so last year. When he's aggressive he's out of control. Terrible free throw shooting, and just not the same defender. Just feel like his game has taken a step back and he's almost uncoachable now We play better when the offense runs through Powell and Young is on the bench.
Didn't Vandy score the fewest points in SEC history against Arkansas? I thought I saw something like that
copy and pasted from some article I found: Vanderbilt's 33 points were the fewest ever for a team at Bud Walton Arena and the fewest an Arkansas opponent has scored in a SEC game. The 23-point margin of victory was the Razorbacks' largest in conference play since 2010.
I'd be interested to see the results of spreads on Arkansas basketball the last two years. Think people could really make some serious money. Always take them to cover at home and lose on the road.
