Anyone watch this? I just started. I know it began in like 2010 or whatever, but I thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between Cumberbatch and Freeman in episode 1. Let's be honest though, Cumberbatch is amazing in everything (that I've seen him in, anyway).
Just watched all 3 seasons last couple weeks. Big fan. Now that I've watched them all I can't wait for the Xmas special this year.
It's here , but might as well just use this current one. http://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/sherlock-fans-get-itt.106234/
Just got through episode 3, and was surprised that they Spoiler ...revealed Moriarty. I thought he was generally kept secret / never shown throughout various Sherlock publications, keeping alive (on purpose) the conspiracy theory that Holmes was really Moriarty all along?
I like that this came from user Professor Moriarty. And I know. I just thought they usually didn't show him on screen. Could be wrong, and obviously am.
I think he was always meant to be in the shadows, behind the scenes as the first criminal consultant. He became such a big/pop character (only appeared in 2 stories) that someone made an illustration of him for a later Sherlock edition and TV show after TV show turned him into the main protagonist. It was inevitable.
They're also 90 minute episodes. But British TV is different. Think Luther's seasons have been 6, 4, 3
Just finished Season 3. I enjoyed the wedding episode and the twist about Mary. I did not enjoy the bad guy media tycoon with the memory palace. I think they should leave some skills to Sherlock (and Moriarty (!) ) alone. And yes, I know the memory palace technique is a real thing, but not to the extent Sherlock uses it obviously.
For instance, here's a trailer for the "Sherlock" Christmas special that transports the characters, still played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, et al, back to their literary Victorian roots: Read more at http://www.hitfix.com/the-dartboard...rya-stark-in-new-trailers#GOZDmj4StJHhP0Vj.99
they are also going to do the Doctor Who 50th special thing and show it in all the movie theaters around the country (which was pretty badass)
Hi hey hello. I believe I will be starting this show tonight. I know absolutely nothing about it but it has impressive ratings on IMDB, RT, and Metacritic.
Absolutely phenomenal My favorite episodes are probably 6, 4, 3, 5, 1, 2. Series (season) 3 I think I'd put behind those.
