Agreed with pretty much everything else (I liked BF:H but totally understand that its not for everyone) but that's laughable. Its the same shit over and over. Its like 20 hours of original content and 480 of doing the same shit.
As I said before, bought the 1TB external hard drive and it has been amazing. XB1 support for it is great....just plug it in, format it for XB1, and it starts saving everything on it. You can seamlessly switch between games on the internal and external hard drive. Its really great.
I knew it was an inevitability for me since I buy so many games, I've just been putting it off for awhile. I've heard it was a pretty seamless transition as well, thankfully don't even halve to open up the console.
The lack of replay is what turned me away from Destiny, and I loved it for a while. Doing the same 4 missions and 3 raids over and over again got lame. That and the fact that every gun is basically the same thing.
That being said Desinty's game play is real fun. It's a shame they stripped it down and now want $25-$40 for every "expansion"
Friends and I are on the verge of just buying it on PC and using our Xbox controllers to play it on there.
I actually quit Destiny when it first came out, but picked it back up a couple of months ago with the expansions. Trials of Osiris is probably one of my favorite fps/pvp experiences since CoD 4. I agree about the game being repetitive, but I enjoy grinding for better gear, and the vault of glass raid is still fun.
Tried out the streaming to Windows 10 PC last night and was disappointed to find out you can't say keep watching TV on the Xbox while you stream a game to the computer. It basically takes over the Xbox. The streaming itself worked well and I could see maybe sitting outside with a laptop and being able to play games as worthwhile. Also it's local network only so you can only stream to a PC that's on your home network. Meaning if I want to stream games while traveling from my home Xbox I would have to use VPN. Which I will do, of course.
Run network diagnostic. If that doesn't clear it up, turn off xbone and reboot router. Once router is back up boot up xbone.
Jeffrey Lebowski Poetic BlazingRebel One friend and I ended up getting it last night. Only got to play for about an hour because my friend's an idiot and his headset was giving him issues but it was great. It's a lot harder to play than people streaming it make it look but they do all have more than one hour into the game. Was starting to get a better feel near the end but I need to mess with my camera settings more I think. Is there a "best" setting out there that people use with regards to the FOV, height, angle, etc.?
I would just tinker with them til you find something you're comfortable with. I'll check mine when I get home and post. I haven't noticed a major difference. edit: Here ya go bic . Took these from the #1 player, didn't notice much difference though.
So the antenna that comes with it sucks. right now all i'm picking up is mexican channels and I live in the heart of houston. Only thing that I'm worried about is that I'm on the pool side (in a courtyard) and my only window faces the courtyard. My leaf gets here wed. I just got the 25 mile city one. If it sucks then I'm going to return it and try the 50 mile one in hopes that it boosts my signal. The actuall tuner is pretty cool.
Been playing too much PGA Tour. Wasn't going to get it, until my trial hours ended and they offered it for $33. This also coincided with about my 10th beer. Seemed like a great idea. It's ok and it fulfills my need for video golf but the lack of courses is poo.
http://majornelson.com/2015/07/28/xbox-live-games-with-gold-for-august-2015/?linkId=15898213 Metal Gear Solid V Never played any of those games. Thoughts?
First off, I'm pretty sure that is the MSG5 prequel thing....like they released it as a showcase to get people excited about the ACTUAL game coming out. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Secondly, if you have the space on your Xbox 360, you should definitely download the two metro games. Pretty certain they will be coming to Xbox One backwards compatibility at some point. If you have the games on your 360 hard drive, they will be become immediately downloadable/playable once the backwards compatibility lets them.
World of Tanks is now out for Xbox One!!! http://majornelson.com/2015/07/28/world-of-tanks-is-now-available-for-xbox-one/ Free to play game. Super fun. You should check it out if you like World War games.
Metro is up there as one of those FPS shooters that are a must play just because of the horror elements.
I'd be down, I joined a public club and they sucked dick. Also played like an hour and the beta crashed like every attempt besides one game. Kind of weird how you don't get attributes just a player type. Customization is insane though. GT: Nevetsn9ne
Speak on that. I always see it in the marketplace but didn't get it because I don't know anyone who's played it.
