I can/did and will continue playing, but Ive always had a rough time playing any game for an extended period of time. Commitment issues I suppose.
There's a ton of other games I'd like to play now but I just can't catch this carrot Bungy like to keep hanging in front of me. Feel like it will ruin another game for me right now bc any time spent on it will be taking away from the destiny grind

Just tried running the hard mode raid for a second time with a random group. Failed at the totems again bc people suck. Might never beat it at this rate.
Got a full auto inward lamp lastnight in trials. may be my new pvp weapon if pulse rifles die in a few weeks
SO I just got a PS4, and I'm not sure if I want to jump into Destiny. I love FPS games, but I almost never play online. I could do it, I have some time when I can get in, but assuming my online time and talent are both severely limited, should I get it?
Destiny is a lot more than just a FPS. It's got a lot more too it than just shooting stuff. It's my favorite game ever, but if you just want something you can just turn on and shoot shit get Black Ops 3 or Battlefield or one of those types of games. Destiny is definitely better. Those aren't even in the same ballpark as Destiny.
It's a much less competitive FPS than most, so there's no pressure to be a top player when doing the PvE content. It's a good enough game that it's kept a very large community playing for over a year now
Its more like a movie than a game, its all QTE. Most of my deaths were because I was watching the cinema and not expecting a QTE. I beat it, but was very surprised to do so. It takes like 5 hours to play through. It has beautiful graphics though. For $10? Sure

Anything new and interesting been added to the game recently? I kinda want to play it a little again. A raid or two, not really hard mode because fuck that, something to just mess around in the game a little bit again. I don't really have the loot drive for this anymore and have no interest in restarting the grind, but I miss the gameplay. Still by far the best playing shooter around.
not really, if you have a new friend on destiny there's a new sherpa quest line that gives you shaders and banshees and shit. challenge mode is probably coming out in the next two weeks. I don't feel like thats enough to keep me going though. they really need new content or ataleast a way to make the old raids relevant or I think I'll be jumping to fallout at christmas break for awhile.
I would absolutely log in for a raid. Just have no desire right not to get on and grind bounties, etc.

Kill warpriest in 2 damage rounds with a different aura holder each time. Guaranteed 320 relic, guaranteed 320 weapon supposedly (sniper, MG, or rocket launcher), new emblem and calcified fragment. The challenge itself is disappointing in that pretty much everyone does it that way anyway but the loot is pretty nice.
That leads me to believe the Golgoroth challenge will be all 6 must grab the gaze. And oh how I've waited to hear Dabut say, "I've got the gaze".
They mentioned something about it not being possible to use the one bubble strat, so guessing they just may force people to trade the gaze back and forth. That's actually the way my group normally does it so hoping it's not that much of a change
did it once yesterday. got the artifact and sniper at 320. Guys I were with got Art/Heavy at 320. Not bad at all. I bet this is why the drop rates have been so terrible for harmode. They've been holding it back for challenge mode. Should gain two lights from this challenge alone after I get that 320 heavy.
Guys, I played Destiny tonight. It still plays really awesome but I still had nothing to do and no one to do it with. I started the No Time To Explain quest but hit the Atheon roadblock quickly. Then I did a strike. Then I quit playing. We need a weekly appointed time when everyone can jump on and run a few raids.
Also need NTTE I'm trying to get refer a friend to work but the site keeps saying the guy hasn't bought destiny even though he has. Any ideas?
Whenever you accept that suros package you get from the taken king with the spark of light and whatever the game takes some kind of serial number/time stamp from that. If he hasnt gotten that package or got it too soon that might be the problem
