They won't end up terrible. But you're right that they really haven't played anyone.

 

Yeah, they're not amazing, but avoiding a loss 14 games into the year earns a lot of points.

 

I don't think they could end up being terrible, but they could end up being a mediocre bubble team. I doubt it though. Martin is a really good coach and it seems like they've got all the pieces in place to be an SEC contender.

I think this is a fair assessment. We could end up outside looking in still but I think we've shown we're no fluke and will be a factor. The thing that makes me feel best as a fan is that we have so many legit contributors. It takes more than one guy having a bad night for us to lose and if one thing isn't working we can try something else

Cliffs: 14-0 means jack shit but at least at this point user TC feels we didn't fall ass backwards into it

 

I'm sure you haven't seen us play, but we aren't a bad team at all. In fact, I can't believe I'm saying this, but we're pretty good.

We rebound and contend every shot you take. We aren't the great man to man team that Frank want us to be, but we are good zone team.

Offensively, I still feel we are putting it together while still averaging almost 80 a game. We aren't consistent outside, definite weakness, but are vastly improved. Inside we aren't the most imposing physically, but know who we are and how we have to get buckets. We consistently beat you on the boards.

Also we have played a ton of decent mid major teams, but haven't played any big time programs. but it you have paid any attention you could see this coming. We have been getting better slowly, just when we take a step forward we also seem to step on our dicks. This year, with a good freshman class, we have corrected most of our woes.

We probably aren't a conference championship team, but are a NCAA Tournament team. Which is a massive step.

That SOS is atrocious and the SEC doesn't offer too many opportunities for quality wins

 

LSU, Kentucky, A&M, Vanderbilt all have the potential of being quality wins this year I would think. Maybe Florida too?

At the end of the day Vandy sucks this year and Cornelius Suttree is an emotionally unstable person and general weird fuck. So I feel pretty good about being 14-0, going on CBA bound.

 

Been here the whole time. Huge basketball fan in general, but didn't post that much because we consistently found new ways to suck. Not a lot of fun posting about that.

And I think baseball will have a bounce back season.
