My time may be coming to an end as well. This will be my 7th in a row, but my friends that are willing to go are all dropping like flies.
ACL single day tickets went on sale / separated the lineup by day. Pretty nicely split up and I don't think I'll have to make too many choices between these as my shows I plan on seeing: Friday: Foo Fighters, Tame Impala, Gary Clark Jr., Cherub, Run the Jewels, Leon Bridges, Moon Taxi Saturday: Drake/Bassnectar/Deadmau5 - will go with my group to whatever one of these the majority wants I honestly don't care. Alabama Shakes, Sturgill Simpson, ASAP Rocky, TV on the Radio, Father John Misty, Glass Animals, Jose Gonzalez Sunday: The Weeknd, Alt-J, Of Monsters and Men, Chance the Rapper, Ben Howard, Griz
Lock'n just added Mickey Hart and Bob Weir to the lineup so the core 4 of the Dead will be at the festival. Granted, not all at the same time. Probably. Maybe.
For any of you bros going to Lolla: My gf and I have 3 day passes, but won't be attending on Sunday. If you're willing to meet up with my drunk ass after Saturday's shenanigans then I can probably give you my pass for free.
The Flaming Lips to headline SoundHarvest Music Festival October 17th at Centennial Park in Nashville Rest of lineup for the new festival to be released later http://soundharvest.com/
I do love me some Shakey Graves and will see them if nothing else is scheduled. But I've seen them 3 times this year and they're playing Blues on the Green in 2 weeks as well.
igloo raves sound like fun but that lineup sucks ass C'est. I guess if you want an excuse to check out Austria it could be cool.
I can't take straight up techno seriously. I have definitely found more of a home with deep house stuff though.

Gonna miss Imagine, unfortunately. http://www.thatdrop.com/5-music-festivals-you-have-to-hit-at-least-once-in-your-life/
Lorin is playing in Grand Rapids on Saturday otherwise I would be heading to Chicago for this on Halloween.
Bc I'm too lazy to look it up atm, is that one a camping festival? It can be cold as hell in IL during those 3 days.
Schedule for ACL is out. Guess it's time to start a thread and see who can fill in any gaps in my gameplan http://www.aclfestival.com/2015-schedule-weekend-one/#friday-2015-10-02
Any of you ever wear earplugs. Looking at these for Lockn coming up but wasn't sure if anyone had any experience with them or another brand. I know Cornelius Suttree said something about earplugs once and caught shit for it, but my mom is deaf in one ear now and has an implant and her mother is really hard of hearing, so it's something I'm keenly aware of and I know I need to take more precautions with. http://www.etymotic.com/er20.html
The lead singer of Eternal Summers told me she deals with tinnitus because she didn't wear ear plugs till it was too late. I go to more shows than 97% of the population so they're now a must for me unless it is a show like tonight (Shakey Graves and Lord Huron) where it's an outdoor venue with less noise than you get indoors Those look like a good product and the price looks great
Landmark schedule was released today. No conflicts that I'm too bummed about, but damn if it isn't the most rigid schedule I've seen. There are no offsetting or overlapping times - everything begins and ends on the half hour, so you either have to leave a set early or get to a set late http://www.landmarkfestival.org/schedule/
Dear Phases of the Moon Community, It saddens us to inform you that Phases of the Moon Music & Art Festival has to be canceled. We were very excited to have had the opportunity to continue the Phases adventure in Arkansas this year. Unfortunately, due to a significant number of unforeseen obstacles, including the continued closure of the only road leading into the festival site, we were left with no choice but to cancel the event. We apologize sincerely for this inconvenience and hope to see all of you at great live music and events in the near future. A separate notice will be sent to ticket holders concerning refunds. Thank you for your love and support. Sincerely, The Phases Team
I don't understand it either..that happened before Waka and they dealt with using the south entry way with what will have been way more traffic.
I'm not handling it very well..need football to come along and distract me already but it really is a kick in the gut.
