Sounds ridiculous but Neuer playing it fast after the Neymar dive was probably the biggest play of the game. Ref was reaching for the pocket and pondering it and then just ran off after Neuer started the play. I agree but can't say they were unlucky, Barca should have had 2 within 10 minutes. Pep pulled a Wenger in thinking he could go toe for toe with a great team at their ground and his team got destroyed. Needs to learn to sit back and counter some times, especially with Alonso's old ass legs and after their display vs Porto.

That is such a shitty thing to have to worry about for such big games. I wish they could find a better way because one of the biggest games of the year shouldn't be missing its stars due to that rule. That being said I would imagine that Pique and Alves both start with Neymar on the bench unless he is needed.
It is something that has to be addressed. I get the logic behind it, you need to have some sort of repercussion for behavior, but those big games have at least double or triple the normal cards a regular league game might have. I don't mean to get all Raven on you, I am just wondering the best way to fix it.

pretty sure they did address it and all cards were wiped clean after the quarter finals. If you get a yellow in consecutive matches in the semi final, that is on you.
