2019 VT UVA game is on replay tonight on ACCN. Random thoughts:

Extremely weird to watch fans packed in the stands. Feels like a lifetime ago.
Bronco’s not perfect (particularly in the secondary) but I love the level of defensive toughness he brought.
Armstrong has done an adequate job replacing Perkins, and I think our dual threat model is the future of college football, but Perkins was so goddamn special.

 

even when the defense isn’t good we can create a turnover or make some trouble and drag a team into a mistake. we gotta get some turnovers.

i think we can use kayteon and armstrong to create some of the same type of plays we had last year. but bryce was such a leader. seeing the team play off him was so much fun.

 

Feels kind of like a lose lose today TBH. Great if we win, but nothing about the season has felt “real.” But a loss would feel just as real. Only downside tonight IMO.
