Excited to see Bale back in England as the focal point, alongside Benzema, with Ronaldo out. I have a feeling he might show out.
Although there has been practically zero evidence to support this, I believe one of these teams will find a goal before the end of this match. That is probably just wishful thinking, but it would be huge for City if they could avoid giving up an away goal.
I didn't watch anything out of stoppage time, and saw the run he made. Regardless of how he did, still a very stupid decision on their part
the rest of the match could be the keepers just punting it back and forth to each other and it would be a better match than yesterday.
Agreed. Bayern trying to break them down will be interesting. Have to think Mueller will start in Munich
Unfortunately I think Bayern pull it out. Pep is actually creative as opposed to Luis and Bayern actually have depth. Also think Bayern are better equipped to crack a loaded final third. Think Atleti press hard early again for a goal so they can play the park and counter for the rest of the game.
I would make Mike Dean look humble if I were a big time referee. That celebrity ref twitter you found awhile back still makes me laugh. I almost wish he were in the middle for yesterday's match, so many no look cards would have been handed out. https://twitter.com/celebrityrefs
I'm not sure Atletico have made it out of their own half but an away goal would make things really spicy.
