I saw Red Bull just did a big extension of Pierre Wache who is the acting technical director. Vasseur had been trying to get him since they are good friends, but looks like he may have settled for Newey instead.
Could be unrelated to Red Bull or could be joining Newey? Newey and Bobby Rahal crossed paths at several points and afaik are friends. Then again I could be making connections that aren’t even remotely close to there.
F1 got it's largest rating ever for Miami this weekend. F1 has to be thrilled about the basketball lead-in and the great race playing out on network TV.
