1.) How much do lower league players make per year? Let's say an average starter on an average league two team. 2.) For the big clubs, how spread out is their fan base? Like, are there a lot of Bayern fans all throughout Germany or just in the Munich area? Would people in Wigan support Wigan and then say Man Utd? 3.) Why do people get pissed at Man City for spending money? Seems to me like all the big teams have money, and spend money which ensures they remain top teams. All I see is that Man City just entered the party later because of a super rich owner. Thanks in advance!
1. I know a lot of the lower tier leagues (possibly beneath league two in England) are like minor league baseball, where a lot of times the players need to have a side job to make respectable earnings. I'm sure others would be able to put it better. 2. Bigger clubs have bigger fanbases (I guess bandwagon if you will), especially those that have worldwide marketing and talent scouting interests (insert NittanyKnight joke about all the United fans in London). 3. People are pissed because Citeh is seen as "new money", thus a new power and only successful not because they built a foundation or have a successful history, much less did the work to build the club up, but got lucky and won the lottery in the form of being bought by an Arab group. Feel free to peruse the "Citeh are ruining soccer" thread. /shamelessselfpromotion
1. Here is the average wages from a report last season. 2. Its like any popular team in the states. The most successful clubs will have fans all over the country. The others are pretty contained to their city/town/villages with some of the historically strong sides with more regional spread of fans even if they are in the lower levels. The Sheffield clubs, Nottingham Forrest, Middlesbrough, and Blackpool are good examples. 3. Everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever.
Thank you both! Also one more question. Why does everyone on this board get pissed at Rossi for playing for Italy over the USA but welcome all the half german/half american army kids into the national team with open arms, many of whom have never left Germany?
Rossi is as bitch made as they come. Much different to be born over seas because your dad is stationed there vs. being a Guido faggot from jersey who turns his back on the country who's tax dollars paid for his education and parents both claim citizenship in.
Because we are the greatest nation in the world and there is a big difference between turning your back on a perennial world war loser and shit tier all time nation and leaving America for fucking shit hole Italy.
