Are you serious? he hasn't even started it? Ya know, I can understand that we, as readers, sometimes have an undeserved sense of entitlement. I have heard the, "If you don't like it, just don't read it!" argument. But I think there is something to be said for his commitment to his customers. If thats true, and I have no reason to doubt you, that's fucked up.
So, it looks like I'll be reading WoT now. Apparently I'll be just able to sneak in TEN FUCKING NOVELS before GRRM decides to continue the work that has bought him cheeseburgers and Frostys for the last 15 years.
You'll be able to finish WoT before he finishes this shit (the last book is due out early next year). Actually Sanderson said it would have been done earlier but he did a complete re-read of the series so that he could finish the final book in the way it should be. WoT gets some hate because of the amount of filler and how some of the middle books are pretty slow, but I think it's still an awesome series. And it's not like Feast was the finest book in ASOIAF.
