But of course he can't write when anything else at all is going on in his life so he's not done yet due to getting sick. Probably will use this as an excuse until he's "fully recovered" a month from now.

Spoiler I'm pretty sure that Jon is the son of Lyanna and the Rhaegar that Jon claimed as his own to protect him from the Gregor Cleganes of the world. I also think that there was no kidnapping, that though Lyanna had been pledged to Robert she ran away and married the Dragon Knight. If there is one thing constant about Ned it is how importantly he holds his honor so the idea of him cheating on his new bride and coming home with a bastard seems inconstant. Jon Snow Targaryan will be one of the heads of Danyers's dragon. I'd bet on it.
